Got some belief that we can go and get the win in the second half.

How many chances do we need though? We’re playing well and dominating but it’s got 1-0 Oldham smash and grab written all over it.

First goal is crucial, if we get it I can see us scoring 2 or 3, but if they get it we won’t score and it’ll be one of those nights.

Another good performance (so far) is the big picture though which is what I’ll cling onto if we do end up Losing,

To be honest I'm not even sure it should have been a penalty. Looked just outside the box to me, but obviously we'll take it! 1-1 is the correct scoreline after that first half. We can win this if our final ball is just a little bit better and the right subs are made. But Cambridge have quality going forward and you can see why they are where they are currently.

I thought the claim later on was more a penalty than the one we did get! Let’s hope this game isn’t decided by him though as this is a decent contest so far.

3-2 up at half-time - the only thing you can guarantee is it won't be 3-2 at the end....
Chris Taylor with a 30 yard direct free kick after 57 seconds.
Chris Taylor then set up Mike Jones who scored from 18 yards
Kioso* pulled one back with a header from a free kick
Chris Taylor then set up Dior Angus who blasted home from 12 yards on the angle.
Doyle pulled one back with a header.

not boring this one.....

Zouma has had a good game so far - but is likely to go off at HT as it looks like he's got a calf strain.

Bolton's defence looks like it's full of Sunday League players....

* Kioso always has his best game of the season against us....

We're going to lose 7-3, but it's been exciting so far. Poor defending from both teams and should have a goal extra each. We've not really played well, but Bolton have been poor (bar Kioso).

Dominating possession, but not creating much. Colchester caught us cold in the first minute and look a threat on the break.

Now I've seen the replay it's a joke of a decision. It was a foul for us if anything. Awful refereeing. But I do also think our penalty was a free-kick to be fair.

Our commentary team thought it was given for handball. Can’t see one in there but could be in the block?

Well that just sums it all up for us.

Should've been 0-0 if the ref would have noticed Watson was fouled.

Our luck really is out. We are due some good fortune at some point.

Watters!

He's only played 3 half's of football but I can't see us keeping him long.

Think this is a good game between two sides trying to play. Crawley edging it but if Fisher had managed to connect we could have been behind. As it is, the only piece of route one football sees Crawley take the lead.

How often do you see a game where both left backs hit the bar in the first five minutes? ...I've often wanted to hit the bar after ten minutes though.

I thought it was a pen. Hannant got there first and your lad like kicked him. Look at the reaction of your player, he knew it was coming.

Port Vale look decent, we’ve not played to our usual potential.

Woeful goal to concede that is. All came from Clark's hopeless punt from a free-kick. Absolute gift of a goal.

It looked a bad challenge by Hannant, high and studs first, only Kettle could give a penalty for that

If you ever feel that you support a tragic football team just remember that Paul Mullin has triple the amount of goals we do as a team

Hannant dived in with two feet in the air. He may have got the ball, but since when has that ever been allowed?!

Fully deserved lead. I hope we push on for a second and not retreat and sit on the lead.

God knows why we are playing 1 up front when losing 1-0 at home. Our team is full of players who can't pass or cross.

Second half, 1-1.

What does GC do? Take Cook off for Bowery (who was abysmal once again) and rather than use his third sub, he leaves Maynard on the bench. His head is gone.

Conlon hasn't been involved enough for us. Whitehead is poor. If we can't get Oyeleke fit and playing regularly we really could do with another body in there.

There's nothing between us and them.

We must be the worst team in the division when it comes to free kicks, Jesus christ.

We haven't even had a shot on target today. Mid table is where we will finish.

One thing I am going to criticise Askey for is the usual of him leaving his subs until too late. In danger of not leaving enough time for any changes to have an effect. Just allowing this to drift a bit at the moment.

If we don't get something from this we've only got ourselves to blame. Too many final passes not of the required quality and one awful bit of defending from a usually excellent backline gifted them their second and handed back the initiative. No idea why we still haven't made any subs yet either when we have such a strong bench. Typical Askey.

1-1, I'm amazed.

Also amazed that Crawley's number 11 hasn't been sent off. Should have got a second yellow.
