Yeah Crawley couldn't have asked for an easier fixture on paper to be frank
Can I hold you to this?

Donny have 50 points and could make a run for the play offs.

Not confident at all.

It’s a stronger squad than last season where we got to the play-off final, we just have 10 players out and you’d probably start 7 of them. Even Ollie Clarke is a doubt for tomorrow, our midfield is basically non-existent at the minute and we can guarantee at least one striker playing in defence so it’s easy for the opposition to find the weak points.
Fair enough, just seems like all I ever see from you lot this season is how crap you've played but I'm probably just not paying attention fully.

Been poor at home mid-week this season aswell, whereas last season Field Mill was one of the toughest places to visit in the division. I feel like we are still in the pack right now purely due to the poor standard this season so I’m with you there but post-January particularly it’s down to injuries.

Hope I’m wrong but I do feel like we are there for the taking tomoz.

Any effect of having sold Hawkins and Lapslie?

We improved on them both, Kilgour replaced Hawkins in defence and Dunn replaced Lapslie. Both have improved us immensely and are better players in the positions (to be fair Hawkins is naturally a striker)

That’s not me being a typical football fan either, because Laps and Hawkins are good players at this level but our biggest issue was defence and we improved immediately from Kilgour and Dunn gets more goals and assists. I’m very surprised we managed to improve on Laps. Our issues due to injuries now is mostly full back and midfield, obviously we brought Reed in from Swindon and he got injured in his second game as standard.

Think I’ve been to Valley Parade 3 times, including a preseason game and it’s been an aggregate score of 8-0. 3 visits, 3 defeats (including a 4-0) and no goals scored.

Bradford fans will be pleased to know I will be attending tomorrow night.

Hoping for fourth time lucky but I expect it will be more of the same really. Even though we won the home game, this is still a tough game and with our record there I do expect us to lose as we start our descent down the table.

It’s an unbelievable achievement to be where we are, but it’s largely down to being good at getting points off the teams around the middle and bottom areas of the league. We suffer from a severe lack the quality when it comes to most games against teams up the top end and I expect tomorrow will be like this. We’ll make a game of it I reckon, but we’ll fall short with the lack of quality.

Bradford City 2-0 Carlisle United

I don’t want our descent down the league to overshadow what a great season it’s been. To think of the shower of shit we were last season, even the team we fielded on the last day of the season at Bradford. The improvement has been remarkable. And whether we finish 7th, 8th or even 10th or whatever, it’s still been a superb managerial performance from Simpson.

I'm sure the vast majority of Carlisle fans would now be disappointed if you didn't make top 7 after your very good season so far

Interesting to see that we've dropped Garner and Patrick, and a major blow that Huntington is injured.

Edmondson and Dennis can both score goals and cause problems. Tonight will be very tough but I'm not giving up hope...

Mutch out, injured v Wimbledon but Gladwin back for us.

We are missing the person to sit in front of the defence again. Worry, worry, worry.

Don’t be, Miller and Biggins out, Nelson away on England duty and I doubt we will even have a shot off target

Think it’s been absolute garbage personally, you’ve been slightly better but can’t see the quality you’re seeing. Honestly one of our most boring games since probably Rochdale and we’ve had some crap.

Not much in the way of chances, but I felt the tempo of the game was good. Both sides look well organised, felt we edged the first half but it could go either way.

It’s all well and good looking good in the first 2/3rds of the pitch but it means Jack if you don’t do anything with it. Has to be said, Doncaster are absolutely terrible and we’re still losing. Says a lot.

Imagine having to watch performances like this for two years and wonder why our fans are so pissed off

Carlisle probably shaded a very poor first half but second half was all us really yet we only created one or two clear cut chances. Frantic game but no quality from either side in the end.
