I'm hoping the game is off to be honest. We're not in any sort of form as we've barely played . 3 or 4 of our better players out injured and we've still brought no new faces in. Derby on a roll and look to be a different beast since last time we played them. It could get messy.

I expect Ellis to be back for this and Ojo which would be a huge boost. Should be a decent game if the pitch thaws out we generally perform in these games so hopefully be good for a point at home.

Return of the Not A Local Derby as we welcome Karl Robinson’s marauding warriors from down the M40, fresh from their glamour win v Ipswich.

Two teams on similar form in a similar position in the table - we’ve had the better of the games in the past couple of seasons, but it could go either way.

I feel like Oxford are a bit fragile and tend not to do well against a bunch of spoilers, but we’ll see.

We have undersoil heating (only because we had to have it put in when we had rugger-bugger tenants) so it’s very unlikely the game will be off, I can’t remember the last time we had a game called off due to the cold.

Franchise away for us.

We head into this one on the back of two consecutive four goal wins so with confidence being sky high, Cotterill should name an unchanged team yet again. Good opportunity to extend our winning run to three here and keep our slight play off hopes alive.

Franchise 0-1 Salop (Saydee)

Our home form is dire but we are doing better now under Jackson than we have any time previously this season. Eisa has just scored a brace. Leko seemed to fit in OK and hopefully Jackson has now decided that Grigg is past his sell by date.

1-1 despite shrews two good wins.

Should be a good game against Barnsley. We've been promised transfer action thus week, let's hope its in rather than out!
Can see White keeping his place and maybe Stanno starting. Not sure this is sold out, which will be a novelty of late..

We need 3 points which will be hard against Pompey. Fleetwood fans are as pissed off as Scott Brown, we play well in games and come away with sweet fa. Time to play shite, dig deep and find that ( elusive ) home win, rarer than chicken teeth. Everything points to another draw, if we lose going for a winner with a draw in prospect so be it, 2-1 to the Cods though !

Nothing official yet, but looks like tonight's game has no chance. Someone I know has spoken to the groundsman and the shaded part in front of the away end is solid, and no sun gets in there. Expecting an inspection at around midday as Wednesday fans are due to set off around 2pm.

Got down to about -4 last night but hopefully the covers have done the trick. It was bleddy cold in the buildup to the Shef Wed game last month and the pitch was fine, so hopefully it’ll go ahead.

I can`t work out why, when we started the season in mid summer we now have to play night matches in mid January.

Will be interesting to see if we can improve on Saturday’s performance. If we can at least defend as a unit and not have our right back wondering out of position leaving a gap down the side of our defence, we might be able to contain Bolton and hit them on the break.

They will most likely have about 70% possession but maybe we can force them to pass it sideways a lot and frustrate the home crowd. If we can do that we might nick something.

No inspection planned at Vale (although a caveat in the statement that "if this changes")

Has 4pm P-P written all over it!

You could be bottom of the league after tonight’s fixtures. Surely better to get games played rather then piling up a load to fit in late in the season?

Yeah I've seen pal. Shame but it is what it is.
Seems a lot of your fans aren't as sympathetic, including one demanding compensation on Twitter

Another has also asked why we didn't turn on our undersoil heating - which is also brilliant.

Seriously though, it's barely been above 0 over the past 10 days or so and the pitch covers shouldn't be on for more than a few days at a time. By all accounts about 80% of the pitch is fine, but it's the bit in front of the away end that's solid. Just one of those things.

Personally, I'm glad it's off for a few reasons, 1. It's bloody freezing, 2. I'm due to be out nearly every night this week, so it gives me a bit of leeway from the wife, and 3. It gives us a bit of a break from playing teams at the top of the League.

Seems like there’s a 3pm pitch inspection. Poor form to leave it this late in the day.
