Two points dropped. Like LS and AR said, we need to be killing teams off before they grab a goal. Thought we were full value for the three points and was extremely disappointed with what looked like a soft penalty - need to see it again. Lewis was unlucky too, decent save but it went straight to their player. We need three points against Crawley.

I was slated for suggesting these 3 games (Orient, Stockport and Tranmere) would see us found out.

After back to back defeats in the league it’s now looking like I was right, sadly.

Really pissed off with tonight’s poor display. Our worst of the season by a distance. A relegation standard performance. Lacklustre, no energy, players looked absolutely fucked from the first minute, a nothing performance, but not surprised one bit. I know we have injuries, but the fact we can’t rotate and are fielding players who aren’t in the right condition to play, exposes what a poor squad we have.

We were so slow paced I actually thought we dragged Stockport’s performance down, they played slow, because we were that shite. If they’d upped it more they could have probably put 6 or 7 past us the way we played. Dreadful.

This will become a regular thing as we continue to come up against half competent teams with our weak as piss squad after the favourable set of fixtures we’d had previously. 3 defeats in a row in all competitions. Well and truly found out. Not looking good at all.

Only positive is I didn’t end up going. What a waste of time and money that could have been.

Bradford took over the first half after a fairly even opening 25 mins or so. We were probably lucky to go in just a goal down.

Thought we were fantastic second half though. Kept going and got the point we derserved in the end.

Two decent sides - both should be in the conversation come May.

Surprisingly straightforward win against a Grimsby side that seemingly came for a point. Crocombe kept them in it as we conspired to miss loads of chances (plus an amazing volley against his own bar from their centre back). Kay never looked confident when he stepped up for the ENTIRELY CORRECT penalty.

We still lack a centre forward, clearly Grimsby do too. Where was Glennon? Fearful his Holker Street curse would strike again?

Nice to stop the rot with three more home games to come over the next 11 days or so.

Same problems as every year. Not enough goals throughout the team which means we're always susceptible to throw away a game like that.
Too be fair I wouldn’t say you threw the game away considering you were on the back foot pretty much all of the second half

Enjoyable game at VP. We started the game well but after the clash of heads Bradford dominated the first half and we were hanging on a bit come the half time whistle. Good goal by Wright and shots whistling past our posts. I was happy to go in at half time only 1 down. Second half we upped our game and felt we shaded it. For me the game changed up a gear for us when Darcy came on for Aguiar (who I thought had an awful game) and Bradford faded. It looked like it was not to be but another last minute penalty was awarded and Jephcott was fortunate that Harry Lewis' excellent save fell into his path and he slotted home.

I was delighted with the point against an excellent Bradford side who I expect to be battling for promotion this season, and a clap for the Radio Leeds comms on Ifollow who were knowledgeable and did give us plenty of credit. Other Ifollow comms would have cried salty tears for a last minute penalty equaliser and these guys whilst disappointed didn't do that. We have Mansfield next, I'm in London this weekend so will be missing that one, their comms were hilariously bad from memory.

That’s the fourth time now this season we’ve conceded in extra time to throw away points. Before each game, we as fans point out on here that we’ll give over possession easily, that we’re too open, that we won’t have a second half, that if Cook doesn’t score then hardly anyone else will… We could script most games before and be pretty much spot on as to how it will play out, we make the same mistakes constantly. Again we haven’t gone 2-0 up (can only think of Newport and Stevenage all season where we have?), again for the countless game we’ve led only to be pegged back to 1-1 (too long a list to write). I don’t now how long we keep going on by shooting ourselves in the foot and expecting to be up there come May.

A hugely pleasing win for ourselves, 4th game in ten days and as I said I didn't expect a classic.

Gillingham setup not to get beat, left it all to us to break them down. First half their gameplan worked and they had some half chances from one mistake we made and set plays, we're not the tallest of teams apart from our CBs.

Second half Wellens tweaked it, put Paul Smyth on the left hand side his natural position which led to him giving Will Wright a torrid time and scoring the first goal, second goal was a well worked break from us and good finish from another sub Sotiriou. Wellens this evening got his tactical tweaks and subs all right and paying off.

Gillingham are certainly a difficult watch, but not a terrible side I thought. They were organised and had a gameplan which did work, but they had zero attacking threats I thought apart from Set plays which they looked threatening from each time. In open play there were not enough risks taken which may ultimately undo Harris if he isn't careful.

I know we are short due to injuries at the minute but I’m going to go to sleep and try my best to forget about everything tonight, the stupid line-up from Clough, the shocking performance by many too. Thank god we played a team with zero quality(at least on the night) or it be an embarrassing scoreline.

Good game of football but that doesn’t win you games had chances to go 2 up but lack a cutting edge. Our home form is nowhere near good enough.

Decision-making is up there with the current government. Like when Angol was messing about with the ball instead of passing it square to Smallwood ten yards out with no one around him.

We've had some challenging games recently against good sides like Grimsby and Swindon and I'm really hoping we can overcome the lack of goals against Crawley on Saturday.

Agree with your assessment, we can’t score at all. We make half chances and then fluff our lines and once we go behind (especially by two) we have no way of getting back in to it.

The attacking options are poor unfortunately, and whilst we don’t concede as many as others down the bottom we are prone to the odd mistake or two.

Just seen the penalty again. What a shambles of a decision that is, Halliday has his arms down by his side

Our local radio commentators said yours might have been offside, haven't seen a replay but what's your view?

I refuse to comment too much on that performance, it’s not worthy of my time.

Had we played anyone, with any ounce of ability we’d have been battered tonight.

Clough, stop fucking around with playing defenders in midfield, attackers in midfield or defence, everyone in about 463 positions each game, fucking stop.

Play normal football with normal players in normal positions and we will be fine.

And drop that fucking useless c*** uptop

Won 1-0 at Doncaster tonight but felt like something of a smash and grab for us.

First 30 minutes I thought we were fairly comfortable, felt we were the side with more attacking impetus albeit without threatening too much in front of goal, the closest efforts to an opener actually fell to Doncaster, Miller had a header narrowly wide and one of the Donny midfielders took aim from his own half and hit the crossbar. When the goal did come it was for us and it was Roberts again, we missed him on Saturday vs Northampton, and he was on hand to nod home after a peach of cross from Arthur Read.

After the goal it was one way traffic, Doncaster pressured us relentlessly, Knoyle got at our left back time and time again, fortunately we always had someone on hand to get a touch, block or clearance in. For all of their possession and threat Donny never really troubled the keeper that much, Knoyle had their only save worthy efforts before a Donny attacker somehow missed a header at the far post when it looked like it'd be a goal all day long.

We shifted from a back 3 today to a 4 and I think we looked more vunerable as result. I'm not sure if the idea was to get an extra body in the midfield but it didn't really work. Glad to bounce back with a win after the loss at the weekend but that was the most uncomfortable I've been watching us in some time. Hopefully we put in an improved showing (along with another 3 points) versus Colchester at the weekend.

Just got back from Colchester.

Two sides who aren't particularly good playing out an sometimes entertaining game. Both Colchester goals were shots from outside the box. I'd have to see them back but I'm not sure if they go down as poor keeping (particularly the first). Just seem to go in when they looked saveable.

Happy with a point but the 30 minutes around half time we were in control and should have put the game to bed but credit to Colchester. After they equalised they were on top looking for a winner.

Conroy helped off after 5 minutes. Tangle with Ak8nde and went down. Turned down a stretcher but looked in a lot of pain as he was led around the pitch. Maybe dislocated his shoulder but that's hearsay.

Good point for Sutton with some key absentees on top of our long termers. Great fight back after first half thinking this is a case of how many. Could have won it in the end. We’ll be ok if we can get a defender and couple of midfielders fit but it’s very hard to compete at the minute given how stretched we are and that it’s a lot of our better players out right in the central spine.

Significantly better journey back from Colchester, absolute pig on the way up. Anyway, it may be pushing it to say the game was enjoyable but I’ve seen worse. Either team could have won it and considering all that’s said about Colchester they showed a lot of fight and physicality which we struggled to deal with at times. If someone has the stats I’m certain we have conceded more goals from outside the box than any other team in the country this season. A point is a point and we move onto an even tougher game at Bradford on Saturday.

On a side note, it’s great to see that in the 7/8 years since Akinde left us, his finishing has not improved whatsoever, absolute garbage in front of goal.

Settled in a bit now, our best centre half. We don't know our best team or formation though so I feel for him a bit. One week he's in a three, next in a two and always with different partners.

Good in the air, decent on the ball, bit suspect when getting ran at for me. But good for this level. A partner of his calibre next to him and we'd be looking good so I'd say he's probably been one of our better signings.
I’d say he’s been our best player so far this season despite his indifferent start.

Been Mr consistent since we stopped torturing him by putting Joe Lewis to the right of him in a back three.

I do remember it. That’s around the time I started watching Carlisle.

I may be wrong but I’m sure we were already champions going into that. I seem to remember us sealing the deal at Rochdale the week before.
One of my biggest memories of that game was Ashley Williams having the best striker in the league that season in Hawley in his back pocket.

No surprise how their careers went from there for me.

For what it’s worth Bradford goal is on onside and Swindon’s pen not a pen.
