Get in!

First time we've gone ahead in a game for three months!

Maybe it's time to wonder whether we can crash the relegation party.

We go up against a team on dreadful form and make them seem ten feet tall. Honestly can't see us winning another game this season.

Our back 4 is now 3 full backs and a half fit CB, if you don't score it will be a miracle
We’re having one of those games where we could have 100 shots and won’t score. It won’t land properly and it’s just not our night.

Morecambe fully deserved that. Close game of football until about the 60th minute. Then our manager decides to play football manager 2021.

Maguire-Drew sits down holding a hamstring gets up but is not moving properly and suddenly Morecambe players running past him down their left. Three or four chances all coming the same way before they scored but still Yems refused to sub him (he played well until then).

What subs does Yems make? Josh Wright on for Hesketh and Tilley on for Tsaroulla ! Our midfield goes to pot.

More chances coming down our right so what sub does Yems make? Frost on for Hessenthaler!

Morecambe looked a very good side and could have won this anyway but why Yems decided to give them a hand is anyones guess.

If we had any cutting edge about us at all Salford would have been in big trouble tonight. For all the money they've spent they're not very good at all. I do realise in terms of Vale those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones and all that.

We’re having a right good go now, sadly 75 minutes too late.
Attacking teams for only 15 minutes of the 90 isn’t going to get us out of trouble unfortunately.

Hurst is worse than Holloway, our fans forgot that it was shite for the majority of the time under Hurst, celebrated when he was hired and now he’s taking us down without a fucking whimper.

Awful, negative tactics without learning the huge lessons he should’ve learnt so far.

Going down
Thank god we didn't offer him the job

A carlisle player was brought down in the box, the referee pointed to the spot, the Colchester players protested, the referee spoke to his linesman and signalled for a goal kick, the Carlisle players then protest and the referee changes his decision to a corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, Trevor Kettle

And now he's done it again.

Amazing what happens when you have two strikers instead of one, and those two do something with the ball rather than giving it away every second.

Shame it's still pretty shite and far too late in the game

We're down, we just can't score if we played all week.

Bailey Cargill goes off injured, clash of heads. That means our back line is now made up of three right backs and an academy scholar.

He is an absolute muppet, but the way things have been going I wasn't expecting him to change his mind again, even though Farman clearly got the ball. How this man is in a job is mind boggling

Anyone would think we had VAR at our level.

Somehow the ref has found 7 minutes to add on, very typical

Kettle has booked a Colchester player (admittedly correctly) for time wasting but should probably book himself since most of the five minutes added time has come from his own fannying about

As if this game wasn't shite enough, the ref has added 11 minutes on. There's only been one injury where the players were down for a bit, and that was a 2-3 minutes at most.

No clue, awful, and the worse thing is Orient were poor too, but could and should have won by 3 or 4, we were that bad.

Cambridge players love shouting in the ref's face

Had to respect Mullin screaming at the ref for a minute as he was getting booked

It’s unbelievable that one of the 3 of us will actually stay up.
With this team we will barely scrape a top half National League finish too, hopeless.
