Dont think think is gonna be a busy thread but here it is anyway

Dartford v Gateshead

Our first Offering comes from Princes Park as 23rd Dartford host 9th placed Gateshead.

The home side look doomed and resigned to a return to the Conference South while travelling Heed saw their play-offs hopes all but evaporated ny Saturdays home defeat to Eastleigh. They will want to finish the season on a high though and will be confident of picking up all three points here.

Wrexham v Dover

And our second and final offering comes from the Racecourse as Wrexham host Dover.

Well what a few days for Wrexham. They blow a 2-0 lead in the FA Trophy final against a team from a league below at Wembley. As a result they sack their manager 24 hours later amid rumours of dressing room unrest. Will be interesting to see the reaction of the fans and players tomorrow

Dover in their return to this level have settled well and impressed many. They will be keen to pile more misery on Wrexham and in the process move a step closer to a top half finish.

Not sure what to expect tomorrow, If Mills is making the calls then expect a Dover win but if Darlo is then maybe we will actually be set up to win a game and pass the ball

Wouldn't really say it was over for Gateshead just yet. They have an outside chance albeit anything other than a win tonight and their season is over.

From a selfish point of view, hope Gateshead lose to pretty much end their play off hopes, so we can play a deflated team with nothing to play for on Saturday and hopefully roll them over...
(If only football was that simple) ;)
Edit: shit, picked Gateshead in the last man standing game, bollocks!! :ffs: :hb:

Gateshead are defo out of the play-off running now and Dartford are certain to go down now.
Tonights draw gives Wrexham a record of 13 wins,13 draws and 13 defeats in their 39 games too.

AFC Rushden & Diamonds
AFC Rushden & Diamonds 2 - 1 Wisbech Town - UCL KO Cup.

Diamonds progress to the final after beating league rivals Wisbech 10 days after playing out a draw in the same fixture in the league. Goal machine Brad Harris opened the scoring from a corner before Wisbech equalised on their first attack on 30 mins. Numerous wasted opportunities meant we went in to the break scores level, Diamonds having had the better of the play. Wisbech reversed that trend in the second half and were mostly in the ascendancy, though it levelled out for Diamonds to get the winner with a few mins left on the clock, Jason Turner's shot literally going in off the backside of Tom Lorraine, one for the dubious goals panel - aka manager needs to make a decision!

Vaguely interesting to neutrals might be that Darren Purse got his debut for Diamonds today. He also somehow managed to avoid a booking, but to be fair he was trying his best.

That's Gateshead all but out of the play-off run in now, they aren't going to make up 7 points in 5 games, potentially 8 if Eastleigh win their game in hand. Hopefully the players think that too on Saturday.

Dartford also now all but relegated too.
