Disappointing with the amount of time they’ve known about the issue, and the little amount it would cost to rectify it, that nothings been done.

Felt for Spike and Nelse tonight, first home game they deserved a good atmosphere, and it was a lot more flat because of it.

All true, and no surprise that nothing's been done because it would cost money and, well, Singh. But that's not the reason the atmosphere was low-key tonight. Nobody was banned, or stopped from chanting, singing, drumming. A bunch of fans simply chose not to. They hurled their toys floorwards and threw a tantrum. It was also a fairly lacklustre performance for much of the game, the kind that would result in a flat atmosphere even if all fans were onside.

As it happens, the atmosphere was pretty good last 20 minutes, especially once Crawford was on and we were pushing for the win.

my dad does this, it drives me nuts. he feels the ref made a mistake and then wants the ref to make mistakes in our favour to "even it up".

honestly still don't really know what decisions he could have made differently to be much fairer? seems a bit silly to go down to 9 men and then moan about the ref because he didn't warn our player for time wasting on a throw in?

I’m not really sure what you’re going on about. I’ve not said anything about evening it up or gifting decisions - once again you’ve made up another imaginary scenario into your own favour.

All I said was that there were decisions throughout the game where you’ve should have been pulled up, but weren’t. We on the other hand we’re pulled up on every occasion. Even your own manager said so, so don’t put your daddy issues on me. The throw in was a simple example, not the only case study.

It’s really not much to ask for a consistent referee. Or maybe it is when you play Vale, seeming as the tone is around how we shouldn’t want a fair game, but you can expect fair decisions.

I don’t know exactly what Soz meant about entitlement but Rovers fans were moaning our players went down easy… all whilst one of the most blatant attempts to cheat a penalty with the dive second half was by a Rovers player.

Ultimately referee can’t be blamed on the loss, lack of discipline was more the cause than the odd 50/50 going our way.

I’ve seen the incident for the first red and it’s absolutely bonkers, I’d be furious if a Vale player did that after 15 minutes that ultimately left us a mountain to climb.

Second half it was just efforts to try and rile our players and get a reaction and luckily we kept a lid on it.

Your lucky you didn’t get a third red at full time as well.

It’s costing you as I think I read more reds than wins.

Tbf that penalty would have been a penalty if he didn’t dive so spectacularly, awful dive. I actually don’t have any issues with Vale and their going down easy and time wasting, if the referee allows it - then do it. I’m annoyed though that when we tried it, his consistency was suddenly missing.

But you’re right, the referee can’t be blame for the loss and no fan in here has blamed the referee for the loss.

Although by the comments of a few fans, you’d think that we’d have blamed every negative thing that ever happened to us on that referee. Apparently wanting a consistent referee is too much to ask for these days, or rather it is against one team.

Carlisle were more toothless than Scunthorpe which I didn’t think was possible.

Now you see why I’ve been saying that this is the worst forward line I’ve ever seen in the football league. It is the reason we’ll be relegated.

We’ve played 20 league games this season. We’ve scored in 9 of them. Says it all. Fucking disgraceful.

Definitely need to go all out for two decent forwards as well as one possibly two decent wide men…

But we won’t. It will be another untried 19yr old from an under 23 side and hoping for the best.
