I thought Kone was offside on the lead up to the goal tbh (I've not watched it back though).

For all Huddersfields possession they never looked like scoring. At least Wycombe actually threatened the goal so you probably deserved to win that.

If you win on Saturday and we lose at Wigan you're back in second. I'm not counting any chickens yet!

You may have a stinker between now and the end of the season, sure - but on the balance of probability, with your run-in, you should seal 2nd.

Charlton is your only properly tough game remaining but we have to play both them *and* Stockport. And sodding Bolton too.

But it’s our fault, everyone has to play everyone and we blew too many games earlier in the season against teams lower in the table coming for a point.

Not complaining that teams play that way, it’s a totally legit tactic and if you’re scrapping for every point, why not.

We had one of those days where the other team was just not clinical enough to punish us.
But credit to Rotherham for hanging in there with 8 first teamers injured or ill and putting their bodies in the way.

They might be a lucky 3 points but they're our 3 points.

Bolton should still make the play offs and who knows, they might learn something from this game.

Nice attempt, a solid 2/10 there

Nir unlucky just not the the quality, plenty of effort and endeavour just we waste too many chances and seem to always concede from every shot we face, hitting crossbars and missing sitters don’t gain you points.

Just would’ve been nice to have won and put this to bed, but why do that when we can make everyone nervous.

Burton play twice before we do again so we’ve more of an idea of where we stand.

I think it depends how kneejerk the individual is.

When Ainsworth started as manager, he needed a lot of time to get to grips with the team and shape it the way he wanted them to play - it's popularly acknowledged that we literally couldn't afford to fire him when he started, otherwise we would have...

When Ainsworth left, and Bloomfield came in, there was an immediate downturn in results, even including a 17-game winless run (or something similarly awful). And then it clicked, and we hit a purple patch...

...then Bloomfield left, and Dodds came in, and again a downturn in results (although even saying that, results had tailed off from the real purple patch even before Bloomfield left).

Dodds is hard to love because he's not very charismatic personally, and also his football (at present) is very Southgate-y, i.e. playing to not lose rather than the free-scoring stuff we saw earlier this season.

But he's OK.

I think a lot of people are a little disappointed in him, but I think there's acknowledgement (at least amongst those who are long enough in the tooth to realise that any kind of change to a winning team brings disruption) that we are already showing signs of improvement - for example we are tighter defensively, even if duller to watch.
