Not commenting on most of them decisions tonight until I get to watch the proper highlights, but the picture I saw on a mate's phone showed the Chesterfield player going in with both feet, off the ground. Even this ref cock couldn't have not given that

I certainly saw enough to know we weren't 'bailed' out by a referee.

Said I’d take a point beforehand. Obviously disappointed but good determination shown, we are a team of battlers. I can see why King got red, got the ball but studs were up, stupid thing to do. Stockport’s bench seemed to influence the decision, ref was awful. Very confident we’d have won with 11.

Fuck offfff both feet, laughable comment. It was a full blooded challenge, he took ball and then cleaned man out. Ref absolutely shit himself on that one

Fair play. You just shaded it. Good luck for rest of the season.
Bloody hell, we made you look good at the Rec on Saturday.
Shows what a pile of shite we are, if ever proof were needed..

I think you could have got more in the first half after the second to be honest. Felt like you slowed down a little.

You watch first 52 minutes when it was 11 v 11?
Watched a penalty shout waved away, a goal well over the line, and apparently a foul in the build up to the second half.

The red card was also a red.

You were the better side, you should have killed us off after the 2nd but you took your foot off the gas and then you have an idiot in Josh King.

So story of the night is the Brotherhood stone walled themselves and allowed Boreham flaming Wood the title. Good one lads.
To be fair I'd much rather be in a division without Boring Wood, so it'll be good to see the 500 Arsenal Womens fans entertaining Crawley in League 2.

Only reason I’ll be watching the highlights is to relive this bit of magic from the main man.

Too much Stockport/Chesterfield chat here and not enough being made of Burchnall striking back with a 6fer.

Ref sees the highlights at half time and knows he's not given us a blatant goal that crossed the line and a stonewall penalty.

King then commits an orange card offence and of course he knows he has to act then. Chesterfied were a dirty team, ref should have nailed them down earlier.

We were nowhere near our best, missing Sarcevic who makes us tick.

I've never been more convinced we'll win the league than I am after tonight. Chesterfield have blown it really. 11 points clear and now 2-0 up cruising only for their legs to buckle. Not got the stomach for it.

It's is us vs Boreham Wood IMO. I'm backing us.

Would have taken a point before hand and was absolutely chuffed with one after how the 2nd half panned out. Will reserve the right to change my mind when i see the King tackle again on TV but in real time it looked a strong but fair challenge. If we keep 11 men on the field, we win that game. I won't have any Stockport fan moaning about the ref when he let them off with 2 if not 3 nailed-on bookings in the first half. The ref simply wasn't up to the occasion but then again, most of them in this league aren't.

Some proper performances in red tonight, Whittle, Grimes, Mandy all brilliant and loved to see Webb's passion at the end!!

Oh and Scott Quigley is a fucking bell-end....shame 'cos he's a decent player.

You threw it away. The Chesterfield celebrations were bizzarre. In that second half, you've handed us the initiative tbh. We know we've got loads of gears to work through.

I guess we just.. Hand Stockport the title now?.... On the basis they couldn't beat 10 men for an entire half? Up until which they were getting outclassed? ... Go to bed, Stocky

Won at an absolute canter. Felt sorry for the eighty odd Barnet fans who made way more effort than the team tonight. Quite possibly the worst performance I've ever seen from an away team, no pressing, presence up front, defensive solidity or serious effort from any of them, they stole a wage tonight.
Can only beat what's in front of you and we were a lot better than of late with players playing in their best positions but blimey my memory of that game isn't us scoring six, it's Barnet looking like they didn't want to get off the bus.

Great result for Chesterfield, with the James Rowe stuff I thought they'd implode but fair play to them they keep going. That's a point gained tonight, not two dropped.

Are you joking?

Thought we had plenty of "stomach" in that 2nd half. Just like we have in the last 2 weeks when it would have been so easy for us to feel sorry for ourselves. Or maybe when we had about 10 or 11 players out earlier in the season but continued to pick points up when most others wouldn't have.

Write us off if it makes you feel better but the league ain't won on the back of a few opinions on a football forum.

You do have a habit of finding it weird when fans celebrate. It’s not rocket science, King was a **** but the second half was backs to the wall with 10 men for an hour against a team who have won 10 on the bounce and haven’t conceded in 9 hours… why would we not celebrate? You are allowed to find joy in football you know.

Stockport weren’t impressive at all really, centre halves were shite. First team they’ve played with a pulse and they went to bits at the back. Should be a nice stroll to the title for us now I reckon.

We won 2-0 when it was 10 men. Just couldn't find the 3-0. You didn't cross the half way line .

Referee has admitted that Quigley was fouled first half and referee assessor has seen the video which shows it over the line for Palmer's header. He won't be refereeing one of our games any time soon that is for sure, the assessors will have their view on that.

There was no stomach at all from Chesterfield. As soon as it went to 10 men, you folded like a deck of cards. You were home and hosed first half.

We were nowhere near our best, trust me, if that is a good Chesterfield performance, they're out of the running for me.

After reading some of the comments on here, i was expecting something akin to the Spain 2010 side.

I just saw a side who just get a lot of balls into the box. Meh.
