Massive win for us that.

Another impressive away performance and victory. Just need to sort out our home form now where we have had far too many draws.

Got away with that. Harrogate absolutely played us off the park, but for some reason decided to sit back and stop playing after going ahead. You could say they got what they deserved for it. Had they carried on, they’d have probably gone on to win 4 or 5-2.

I take the point, because we were absolutely abysmal really.

That's a beautiful win. Referee was a disgrace from start to finish, the red was probably the only thing he got right all evening and he wasn't even going to give that until the Mansfield players swarmed him.

Scoreline flattered Mansfield in the end but we were excellent and our time wasting in that second half was impressive. I don't like it anymore than anyone else but we've been a soft touch for too long so it's good to see us being a bit horrible.

Looks as though Crawley spent 90 odd minutes jumping up and down on a Burnley goal line. 15% possession!

Telford scored though.

Harrogate cost themselves a well earned victory by crapping their pants when taking the lead. I understand, we've been in that situation many times over the years desperate for a win but it does make you wonder why managers want to change the flow of a game they're dominating.

We really missed Mellish tonight. Think that's the final proof any doubters ever needed of his importance.

I like to look at the positives and that's now 13 goals in the last 6 league games. It's been a long time since we had that kind of strike rate. Goals from midfielders which is great to see. Hopefully we can keep that going.

Tonight is another example that we're no pushover and team spirit is strong. We really weren't at the races but we kept at it and forced something to happen. That would've 100% been a defeat in recent seasons.

Expected better from Mansfield they walked over us at VP last season.

Would have been a walk in the park without the red, thankfully it’s over I thought the ref was just going to play until they scored but we might have been there all night.

If you looked at our form, and read what’s been said on here that’s about what you would have expected. But the added time was fair; the time wasting was the best entertainment of the night and it could have bitten you on the arse. It’s not suppose to be that blatant, Hughes needs to do some shithousing training.

The time wasting was the right thing to do, we were on the back foot against a promotion rival not one other team wouldn’t have done it.

10 minutes is very generous, week in week out teams waste time at VP and it’s usually 5/6 minutes max. Plus we played 12 in the end…

As for the red, teams wouldn’t finish games if refs bothered to book players at VP for that, but it was the correct decision, just pathetic lack of consistency from refs at this level again.

Like I say the issue is how bad you were at pretending to be injured, got to be better at shithousing. Something to improve on, Mansfield have much bigger issues going off the last 6-7 games mind.

Rumblings re Clough, yet?

No serious ‘Clough Out’ or anything, but he’s definitely left the squad a bit too old and also too small, when we hit a patch of poor form it’s very easy to point at his shortcomings. The bloke loves playing people out of position, he just picks his best 11 in his mind and will slot them in somehow, so tonight he played a right back at left back, while who he played at right back had to be taken off at half time for being so poor.

I’m sure we will still be in and around the play-offs, definitely need some defensive investment in January - the management of the club seriously fucked up not investing in our defence other than a young loanee from Forest.

Bloody hell, football eh? If you'd told me that we were going to beat the league leaders at home, and keep a clean sheet, I'd have called you an idiot.

Due to my work, I can't make weeknight matches, but I chose to book a day's holiday as I already had a ticket for the original match. On Saturday I was regretting that decision but I'm so glad I went.

Nice friendly bunch of Orient supporters on the bus home.

Same problems for us tonight that we've had recently and we got bitten again. Controlled the game for the first 20mins and put Wimbledon under pressure, but got done on the break twice and Wimbledon took their only two clear chances well.

Our heads went after the second goal, we kept giving away needless free kicks and the players just got wound up and frustrated quickly, our team is talented but they need to learn how to cope when we don't get things our own way, I think people forget (myself included) that our attacking players are all still quite young and not had too many full seasons under their belts.

Second half Wimbledon kept killing the game and in the end we got what we deserved as our play in the attacking third was limited, we had one off the line and a goal harshly chalked off for offside which I was in line with though. When its not your night, its not your night.

Our moron brigade turned up at the end, just as they always seem to do when we have a large local away following.

Big gripe about Wimbledons ground was the crowd management of letting away fans in, loads got in late. I'd heard bad reports about the way they manage large away crowds and tbh it was all true. I got there an hour before kick off with barely anyone there and it was slow for me, too many steward check points and searchs every few steps.

Although I'm part of the programme selling volunteer group, I took the night off due to a stinking cold. I was there but only as an attendee.

There's a fair number of us in the 50-65 age range. Goodness I feel old. I'm 60 and how did that happen?

Fairly disappointing performance. Harrogate certainly lifted their game, probably feeling confident after beating Bradford, but they weren't Barcelona, we've beaten better teams this season and should have been able to cope. A shame that twice we took the lead we couldn't hold on to it, but at least we salvaged a dramatic point. It's a game in hand we had on most teams and at least we made something of it. Think Salford lost didn't they?

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
If Carlisle want to push for top 3 it was a poor result, you have to finish off the poor sides in the league.

But if aiming for top 10 and hope of play offs it was a good result, place we don’t normally win and 3 away goals scored.

This Carlisle team reminds me a lot of our 2006 title winning side in its first few months where it had ‘something’ but also lacked something……..of course that something ended up being Michael bridges who just went and added that spark going forward building on our already solid at the back and creating chances and it clicked.

Here it seems a little opposite, we create we can score we also in Patrick have our 15-20 goal forward who will be added but……we are prone to leaking 1-2 badly defended goals game after game. Defence needs an improvement personally for me it’s either new goalkeeper or defensive midfielder

Cannot blame Harrogate going into a panic and flogging it, happens a lot when down bottom and you get that old saying that you get no luck down the bottom

That'll do nicely.
That it will. I very nearly didn't go last night but glad I did, for the last 10 mins at least. Hendo scoring a cracking goal to make him club record scorer - fantastic stuff.
Aside from that though I thought the game lacked any quality. Not a classic, but memorable for the Hendo goal.
We're a bottom half side, we know that. But Salford, massive budget and apparently auto chasing, looked equally bad. It'd be a real shame if they didn't go up again.

Seem to get the vibe that you lot might pull clear a bit. Even when you were bottom you weren't getting piped, corner turned?

Since Bentley came in we’ve been a lot harder to beat and concede a lot less than we were doing, so that in itself gives us some hope, just need to get to January so he can add a few of his own players. I think we will be fine this season personally. If Stockdale was still here we would be doomed. Awful manager. We have definitely missed Quigley while he’s been out injured but Hendo has put in a decent shift last few weeks. Also still missing a few others, but like I say, I think with JB in charge we will stay up this season.

Much as I despise Salford I do hope they go up this year, the reason being that the optimist in me hopes that we will be a top 7 challenging team next season so it’s a big budget team out of the way.
For the same reasons I hope that Bradford and Mansfield also piss off to League 1.

We all know where we would like our team to be strengthened and hope something can be done in January but hard times have become harder and it won't be as easy this year. One thing you have in your favour, it is still possible for you to progress in the cup and get a televised game at Old Trafford.
