Lengthy away trip down to Deepest Northamptonshire to play Brackley tomorrow night for us. Brackley look a useful outfit and much better than last season. Saturdays disappointment has put a bit of pressure on this one. We need to make a much better start then we did v Stockport as I think our away form will be pivotal again. Tom Allan returns from a one match suspension, which is just as well as Todd jordan had a shocker on Saturday and I hope Adam Priestley is finally fit to play in place of the injured Paul Clayton.

Keep an eye out for Jack Bowen up front and Shawn Richards on the wing. Either may come off the bench, though I doubt they will start. Both were two of our better players last season and it will be interesting to see how they fare two levels up.

We're hoping to get our season kick started with a game against Chasetown. After the disappointing loss and lack of a goal on Saturday our forum is already approaching meltdown over the apparent lack of a goalscorer. Putting a few chances away would be good to get some points on the board and get the confidence up ready for the cup game on Saturday...

Really don't know what to predict tonight. Sutton go into it on the back of 4/6 from two tough away fixtures, which suggests it won't be easy. We were (by all accounts) very poor at Macc in our only other away fixture, but seem to have improved as each game has gone, and were unlucky with Barrow's late leveller.

To be honest, 6/6 from the next two is certainly achievable but I wouldn't be surprised if we did end up losing out tonight.
