Brother and sister bedroom duo from the Isle of Wight in the early eighties. The percussion is apparently bed panels and the guitars came from mail order. John Peel gave them airtime and apparently they're still knocking around. Very weird and sickly sweet but I don't want to listen to owt else, they could really write a song. I've got a thing for cutesy/melancholy lo-fi pop from around this time. Marine Girls, YMG and Dolly Mixture, they've all got this wistful, sincere small-town air to them.
