Anyone still bearing through with the current series of American Horror Story? The writers have taken it upon themselves to kill off at least one character each episode.
Haven't watched it since episode 7 or 8, cannot believe how bad this season has been after a promising start. Will eventually finish it off, but I am in no rush at all.

Obviously the whole premise is ridiculous but it gets truly ludicrous in the last series. In one of the last episodes the main character is struck by lightning leading to the creation of an evil twin o_O

Speaking of ludicrous and bizarre plot twists, Ive just finished watching the last series of Felicity. Good series that I enjoyed all the way through, only for a monumental mess in the last 5 episodes. Mainly caused by the TV network at the time who wouldnt confirm to the writers if they had 17 or 22 episodes, so they wrote episode 17 to be the finale...only to then be told they had 5 more episodes, so with such a short time span, ended the whole series with a bizarre time travel story arc, which just didnt work.

Agent Carter is starting to feel a bit stale already for me, and it's only on episode 4. I'll carry on with it though, Agents Of SHIELD took a full season to get anywhere and it is part of the MCU after all.

I've given up with Legends starring Sean Bean after 3 episodes as it's utter dross!

I have a feeling Agent Carter will be dullish until Peggy plays a bigger role in SSR/creation of SHIELD.

anyone been keeping a tab on Crisis? I personally like it, despite it being very far-fetched.

I haven't. Been glued to Netflix as of late so I rarely watch anything on normal TV. Is Parker still a badass?

Yeah, still kicking ass but he hasn't had things quite his own way as of yet. This series is nearly coming to an end, they are on about packing up and leaving. Last week was episode 15 and I THINK, there's only 20, including 1 'clean up' special at the end. So addictive.

How thin is the ice that Weekly Wipe is skating on at the moment? Sliced with a microtome? 25 minutes lampooning laziness on the telly followed by a 5 minute montage of Greg Wallace appearances minus a punchline. And Jake Yapp. Blimey. Attaboy, Charlie. *mimes wanking at camera*

And howsabout Inside the Commons. Very interesting (as one would expect from Cockerell) but not exactly reassuring is it. A shitty novelist would reject the metaphor of a faux gothic palace falling down around their ears as little too on the nose. The place is Gormenghast IV written by Kafka. Cpt S must be loving all the hot Mogg action though.

I have been watching both Weekly Wipe (though not saw this weeks one as yet) and Inside The Commons. The latter is an insightful look at all the politicking, pomp and waffle that goes on there. Reece-Mogg can philibuster for England though could he not!

I've been watching
Inside The Commons as well. I've never had any respect for MP's and after watching this my view of them has shown to be correct, not many come out with any credit just one or two and that's it, still an entertaining watch though even with all the bollocks being spoken in the house.

Aye I watched episode three the other night and the shenanigans they get up to is incredible, you can definitely see where The Thick Of It and others get inspiration from.

They introduced the Joker in 'Gotham' this week and it wasn't too bad.

Lady Gaga's in the next series of American Horror Story. With the shiteness of the last two series' and that announcement, I'm not going to bother.

Anyone watch Immigration Street? "Poverty porn" turns multiculturalism.

The sad thing is that it was actually fascinating before the press, politicians and other residents lost it at Channel 4. I didn't see any more tension on there as anywhere else until it became a media storm. Everyone getting along and wanting to get along complete with no particularly controversial opinions, and C4's position seemed disinterested enough to me. People on both sides genuinely seem too eager to silence it preemptively.

I watched a bit of it last night but got bored very quickly as it wasn't my thing. It was supposed to be 6 episodes but lack of local people wanting to get involved meant they only had enough footage for 1 episode. Who will channel 4 denegrate next the mentally ill?

Watched the first episode of Reginald D Hunter's Songs of the South last night because I have no social life. Really good.

I like it. It's a bit Well Made tho, innit. Every episode a theme/issue, reflected in political and personal lives, neatly wrapped up before the credits roll. Especially in season 1. A kind of liberal wet dream too.

the pilot for the returned american remake is terrible. score's gone, establishing shots have gone, pace has gone, replaced with lengthy exposition dumps and awkwardly translated dialogue from the original.
