Noticed Argentina got knocked out without winning a game (drawing to Austria and Panama whilst losing against Ghana) - not got a good group coming through or just played a very weak squad?

Who should we look out for as stars of the future?

Argentina have been disappointing. The team who had easily the best squad at the U20 South American Championship failed to get out of a very easy group. Not sure if they have the same squad but either way its disappointing.

The fuck do we have to do to enter these tournaments? France have one of the best youth systems in the world. It's a travesty that we can only play in Toulon while there's the U21 Euro and this going on. Bloody shocking it is!

Been reading quite a bit about eastern European football and it does look like Ukraine has some good academies. The 3-0 win against the US just proves that. Good on them for finishing top of their group. They should do well for the rest of the tournament. Maybe even win.

we are in the quarters after beating Nigeria 1:0 and will meet Mali there. was a really tough group stage for us. Uzbekistan, Honduras and Fidschi or whatever the english names for this countries are.

the other quarterfinals are:

Brazil vs Portugal
Uzbekistan !!! vs Senegal
USA vs Serbia

Mali beat Germany!

Brazil and Senegal though.

I expect Brazil to win it all now. Serbia to make the final on the other side. Although, Mali don't sound like pushovers after seeing one of their plays and beating Germany isn't easy.

Brazil is doing very well on under 20 at least. With their "campaign" until now they have good chances of being the champions.

Serbia beat Brazil in the final 2-1.

Maybe they'll go back at being decent for the senior side. Very poor in qualifiers and have beeen since making the 2010 World Cup.

Despite the final score Brazil didn't play bad but that Serbia goal at the end was crucial.
