Simple as that. The squad is too complete and Jose produces victory after victory. The excitement will have to come from the race from 2nd-4th as United will top the table for the rest of the season I feel.
Bet I've jinxed the jinx now.Seems you've seen through Smats little plan.
United have already won the league
Smat fears Jose.
.the Jose Blitzkrieg
Here we go again. You Brits and your WWII metaphors
What about Huddersfield!,I can't help myself, Dirk, but I've always wanted to say this in a thread....... Don't Mention The War..!!
Seriously though, yes of course United have gotten away to a flyer and they will certainly be strong candidates to win the league. But nothing is ever decided after two matches. Injuries.... loss of form.... Alien abduction... anything can happen between now and May.
Other clubs will have a say in the issue. Chelsea are the most obvious challengers, Manchester City have the skill set and could challenge if they ever start playing at more than walking pace and errrr... that's about it, really. Spurs could win the league if they were anybody else but Spurs, Liverpool will remain maddeningly inconsistent. Arsenal? Sorry, but I just can't see it. Everton? Getting better but still not good enough.
If I were a gambling girl, my money would be on United.
What about Huddersfield!,
Please don't reffer us as " Chris Powells former team" it was the worst quality of football I've ever seen at Huddersfield and that says something because we used to be in league 1 and 2 years agoHey, Chris Powell's former team have had a good start and congrats to them for that. I hope they can establish themselves in the Prem. Good luck with that.
I wasn't following football when Addicks were in the Prem. In fact, it was when I started supporting them that we got relegated. My nephew blamed me for relegation. He told me in his blunt, adolescent way "Ever since you started supporting us, we keep losing. Auntie Jenny, you're a jinx."
Best I don't endorse Huddersfield, Warrior. With my record, it'd end in tears and I'd feel guilty about it. But I hope it all goes well for you.

Man City have to be the favourites. They already had the best attack in the league and now they've added Bernardo Silva to it and are getting a full season out of Gabriel Jesus. And their main issue last season was the fullbacks not being up to it but now they've invested £130m in brand new fullbacks which should fix that issue and make it easier for Pep to play his style.
I hope your critique of City is borne out this weekend Piskie. Somehow I imagine they will start clicking and rattle in their usual raft of goals against Bournemouth!
This. Not quite in time for the Bournemouth match, Mark, but they appear to have found their shooting boots now.
Licking my lips at the prospect of the City vs United coming up. This will be a BIG three points for both teams.

Yeah my United supporting mate said after their 0-0 draw at Anfield "draw away, win at home", which is incredibly stupid when Man City are winning away and winning at home. City had literally already been to Chelsea and won this season. United will have to attack us this weekend or they might as well throw in the towel, a point really is no good to them already.Mourinho shitting himself every time he visits a top 6 club will be the main difference this season. May as well hand the title to City now.
