It will be interesting how having to share that delicious, delicious TV revenue with the rest of the spanish league affects things.

The new deal benefits all in La Liga but Real and Barca still get extra the way it's been set out so they will be even better off. Real and Barca are getting stronger financially too and may pull away from the PL big boys over the coming years if they continue to be there or thereabouts in the CL. I was hearing that Man Utds brand won't be so valuable going forward unless they start to dominate English football once again which is doubtful. Chelsea and City are closing the gap too I believe.

I don't think domination is a requirement, challenging at least. Real Madrid are bigger than ever but they've an awful trophy record for years now.

Yeah I wouldn't disagree with that tbh, a club that can access all the top names it wants to really should be winning the league consistently at a minimum, and one win of the CL in ten years is definitely underachieving.
