Good location wise for me, but Tranmere are actually alright fans - and it's a great excuse for a piss up. That I had to google where Boreham Wood actually is says it all - no ta

Borehamwood are in no way our rivals. I think we've only ever played them in the Herts Senior Cup. If we do play them in the play, then I'm pretty sure that we'll outnumber them 3 to 1 for the fixture at Meadow Park. It will be a bit like when your lot played Alfreton in the League for a couple of seasons.

Oh aye, I know. Not suggesting otherwise.

You'll be back in a few seasons hopefully, whereas they hopefully won't come up ever

From our forum, the general feeling is that it's a shame that the new season can't start tomorrow. In 8 matches, Martin Allen managed to get our squad gel together and play to a reasonable League 2 standard. It would be a waste to let that momentum dissipate.

As for Borehamwood, if Garrard stays in charge I'm sure they will get another chance (if they lose on Saturday) but I don't think they will if a bigger club poaches him.
