Would expect tinpotters Borehamwood, Halifax and Bromley to FADE.

We are going to be spending massively in January, they've already said we've got targets identified and are ready to go chucking cash about as soon as the window opens for us.

Brotherhood shootout all the way most likely and there'll definitely be 5 Brothers in the top 7.
FC Halifax Town have never played in the football league.
??? I don't think any part of my post stated that we did. You can't be a clever f***er if you can't read.

Pressure getting to these Halifax fans. Can they hold it together?

There's no pressure at all. Spent bugger all expected to achieve nothing. If we don't go up at the expense of the big money brigade, nobody will be calling for Wild's head. We could finish mid table and his job is safe.

A pessimist can never be disappointed.

Predicting the three best financed teams to challenge for title.
Predict the remainder of play-offs to be taken up by the other well supported ex-football league clubs or sides already high up the table.
Predict the three poorest sides so far to go down.

Way to be brave with your forecasting.
I am so so sorry, perhaps if I'd gone for the title to be a ding-dong battle between Dover and Kings Lynn that would have been more to your liking. So I apologise again for merely given an honest assessment of what I consider to be the most likely outcome. Oh and please bear in mind that 2 of the 3 teams I had as title challengers aren't even in the top 6 at present and the team currently in 2nd I have as not even making the playoffs.

??? They were calling for it when we in the play offs in his first season, some were calling for it every time we lost last season, they were calling for after we lost the first game this season. There'll ALWAYS be some thick twat calling for the Halifax manager's head, whoever he is, and wherever the team is in the league. You KNOW that! :ffs:

Fair point. Ok well anybody with more than two pebbles rattling around in their skulls won't be calling for his head. That does rule out a good 3/4 of theshaymen.net though.

Too true, although you yourself are one of the sensible ones on there. Can't say the same for the 2 idiots though, who are both decidedly in the other set.

Non League is a state of mind. That Wrexham fan who said games against Halifax are one of the few fixtures that still feel like a Football League match gets it. :ds:
Halifax have probably not been a league club since you were born

FC Halifax Town or Halifax Town FC . Still play at the same ground. Still play in the same colours . Still have the same fans. So yes it is still the same football club that were once in the football league.
