Battle for the best the misused apostrophe(')(s) opportunity of the season.

Optimism will be high after Tuesday but the Abbey is a different problem for this re-vitalised team (3 losses from 10 away, 3 wins from 9 at home).

Injuries permitting, a similar side to Tuesday would be a good call but I can't see Corr being on the bench. I'd be happy if Corr for Williamson and Kennedy for Roberts were the only changes but who knows?

Goals are likely (2-2?) and another 5,000 plus crowd should make for a good atmosphere - although weather forecast suggests near gales and rain from 3 p.m. ish.

Has Shauny boy not had the chance to get rid of any hope you have of scoring yet?

Not sure if you noticed but we scored 4 goals away from home on Tuesday night. So the answer to your question is currently a resounding "no".

As we'll be playing their first side and not their ressies, then the only possible outcome is a win, and a handsome one too. The weather is the only thing that could possibly stop that from happening, as we wouldn't be able to play our slick passing, fast tempo footy Derry has got us playing.

A relatively easy 4-1 win if the weather's kind to us, a hard-fought 2-1 win if it's not.

Up the U's. Long live Derry the King.

7 goals for and 5 goals against in our last 2 games should surely see plenty of goals in this one. Corr in for Newton and go 4-4-2.

3-2 to the U's.

I could have gone to this but chose to play 6 a side instead. Really shows how apathetic I am about travelling to any more away games this year. Just a recipe for chucking away 50 to a ton, I'd rather just give it to charity tbh.

Dezza will have the last laugh here, we can't seem to work out that playing away requires keeping it tight and playing on the counter. We also seem to do a bi monthly dissapearing act right now,

Viva la revolucion! 7-0 Cambridge.

OK, any margin of win would be lovely, if we play in the same way we did Tuesday I'm confident we can get 3 points.

Yeah, we're not good enough defensively to get much out of these away games. Carroll has been past it all season, so no doubt Moniz will realise this in about April. Our only chance is to take advantage of Derrys shit half time team talks and score about 4 straight after half time.

Really hope he's learned his lesson and makes a success of it with you. Test will come when he gets to build his own team.

We'll get killed here. Complacent and tactically naive as the Stroke City hero is desperate to put one over on Notts.

Wasn't this our last league fixture for a decade as well? Always assumed that would be 'occasion' when we met again.

One of my first Notts away games was at Cambridge the year you went down, 0-0 draw at your place, me and my dad got lost because we followed the floodlights that were Cambridge City's and then joined a protest march of your fans.

Ok, no chance of a 4-1 but I'm sticking with 2-1. Horrible first half and County are shooting at goal from literally every area of the park, no matter how tight the angle is. I suspect that is only because they know we have a crappy keeper and not because they had the wind behind the backs in the first half.

Hoping for a better second half.

Proper mid-table game, at least the goal that settled it was hilarious.

Obviously delighted with the win. Massive slice of luck with the second goal but will take that all day long. Decent ish performance though plenty of room for improvement still.

2 wins in a row, can't cope!

Yeah, can't wait to see the replay of the second goal, mainly to see why the County players protested so much. Sure it was a mistake and we were lucky, but I think it was a legitimate goal, though I will wait til I see the replay before making up my mind.

Despite the scoreline, there still isn't the consistency we want and need - it was mostly luck that got us the win.
The team has got to take the positives from the game though and try to build on it.

Can't wait to see the highlights tonight.

What a wonderfully crafted second goal, you just can't teach that sort of magic, only something you can do with years of experience.

It's Roy Carroll, I have no idea why he does half the stuff he does. He's a fucking clown.

Roy Carroll what on earth were you doing? haha.

We deserved the 3 points for our second half display. By the way, what has happened to Izale Mcleod? Shadow of the player he was.

You've got to actually have a bubble for it to be popped, Adam.

Which is why we were bemused by your post on us, we're just a midtable side that seems to do the business over hapless bottom half sides, like yourselves.
