Well lets see if this horrible piece of work is still up to his old tricks ? The sight of him on the Channel 5 show on saturday made me want to punch the television. As Grant is missing and O'Connor clearly nowhere near fit i would imagine Brown will start in midfield, after another powderpuff away game at Sarfend will the real Port Vale reveal itself as our form is baffling. 1-1 , 427 from Posh.

Depends which Vale turn up. Luckily the decent one has generally turned up for home games so all being well we can get a good result. Won't be easy and rarely do well against Westleys tricks.

To be fair he was left with no choice with McGivern due to Streete injury but the Birchall selection was absolutely mind boggling, as ever he didn,t disappoint to put in a non descript performance.

Grant is going to be a huge miss, Been the player of the year so far by a mile. If it's Brown that replaces him he needs to be a lot better than he was vs Blackpool.

Grant definitely a big miss and we've lost pretty easily in the last couple of games. With an even softer centre we look to be vulnerable.

Peterborough on a bit of a roll and clearly have a talented squad.

It really depends which Vale turns up. At our best, we'll beat anyone in this league but at our worst we'll roll over and 'get our bellies tickled' as Micky Adams used to say.

Does Westley still employ the ghastly time wasting tactics and general wind-up play? I fail to see the need for it if he has a squad of Peterborough's ability so I'd be sad to see it happen on Saturday.

I think we'll lose 2-0. Feel like we keep taking one step forward and three back.

Battle of the Alnwick brothers if the Peterborough version is fit after being subbed the other week.

He played last weekend so no reason why he won't.

I'm expecting a win again, to be honest.

If the Vale that turned up against Burnley, Gills, Donny, Wigan, West Brom and the Blunts roll up then I expect we will win the game as we look as good as we've ever looked since our Champuonship days. On the flip side if we turn up as against Blackpool, Bury etc with a half arsed attitude we will struggle. We seem to raise it for the better teams at Vale Park so be interesting to see. Hopefully O'Connor starts for Grant.

I like it when teams showing up thinking they'll win.

Either way, I'm just glad that thunderc*nt is nothing to do with our team- and that's not a dig at Posh. I know we hardly play the slickest game of football but I genuinely feel for you and the tactics he uses

Criminal not to win that. Only we could balls up twice in a match from the spot!

Rite annoyed by our arguing over the penos, Posh didn't deserve anything out the game, they never looked like beating us. Westley has already put his time wasting tactics to good use with Posh, B Alnwick should have seen a yellow at least 2 times for time wasting.

Score then argue after the game not before. Cost us points today and hopefully both are fined.

Who was arguing over the penalties? I'm gonna say Uche wanted to take the 2nd and the other Vale players didn't let him?

Apparently Foley who's took them this season argued with Occy who is our usual one, then Uche for the second

Ha, nailed it. Did the same when he was with us, twice. He's a greedy attention seeking prick. Makes me laugh that he's all like "god is good" and "stay humble" on twitter, yet on the pitch it's all about him. Very tricky player and I can see him having a decent career, but his attitude is just awful.

It's a point we wouldn't have gotten under Robertson.

Vale are crap at penalties.

Bostwick is not. (Although hammering the ball straight down the middle from 12 yards is all he's good at).

Not much else to add.

Seen the highlights. First two penalties were soft. Second penalty was a bit unlucky not to go in as nine times out of ten that hits the keeper and flies in. Had some good chances.

I thought it was an entertaining game, and Posh were okay ( ish ) , one or two of horrible twats traits creeping in though, Zakuani was embarrassing lying OFF the pitch nearly crying for the trainer come on. However it didn,t affect the result, we did that ourselves. If you take off biased glasses both our pennos were soft, seen them given seen them not, my argument with the first is if it is a pen then its a definite yellow for Alnwick surely? The first resulted in Foley and O'Connor wrestling the ball off each other. Foley is the man in possession as O'Connor hasn,t played since May and ought to of taken it, 2-0 game over it would of been. The second pen then saw Uche try and wrestle the ball off Foley, who then made a twat of himself by playing stupid games with Alnwick pointing to one side and laughing at one another, just bury it for gods sake, hate a player who stutters during run up, why change what he has done all season? 2 points dropped and some petulant naughty schoolboys need to be given a dressing down by the manager. Next pen be interesting as Grant buried one against Blackpool in JPT so we might have 3 or 4 scrapping for it. We are where we are mid table side, not enough up front to kill sides off, all 3 substitutions were absolutely baffling too from Page.
