Transfer Markt have him up for £17.5mil, that was from the 1st July though when he was due back for good. Upon the next update I'd say it'll drop to £10mil.
The same site that has Firminio at £24.5 million

Howard - £500k - old and way past his best
Robles - £3m - looked decent after a run of games last season, should be starting regularly
Coleman - £15m - good defender, quick, great dribbler. Needs to learn how to cross to be one of the best around
Hibbert - £100k - old and always injured. Retirement beckons
Browning - £2m - centre back covering right back, looks steady if not spectacular
Pennington - £500k - played one half, looked good, not seen since
Stones - £50m - one of the top young players in the world
Jagielka - £5m - still as solid as ever, should still have a few more years at the top, injuries permitted
Funes Mori - £9.5m - looked good in the handful of games he's played. We bought him for this price so can't say if he's better or worse so far
Galloway - £6m - centre back covering at left back, getting better all the time. Defends really well, quick, hopefully he will learn to improve his attacking instincts
Baines - £6m - still one of the best left backs around. Currently injured, hopefully it hasn't impacted too much on his ability to get up and down the wing all game
Oviedo - £3m - I'd rate him higher but injures lower this. Good cover down the left
Barry - £1m - plays well as the sole holding midfielder, may see him fill in at centre back this season. Versatile and always looks for a quick, forward pass
Gibson - £2m - great when fit, he's been injured for nearly two and a half years now
Besic - £8m - real fans favourite. Tough tackler, takes responsibility on the ball, still young. Currently injured but should be back soon hopefully
McCarthy - £15m - most frustrating player in the squad. Excellent at winning the ball back, hides/rarely asks for the ball when we're in possession
Barkley - £30m - playing in a deeper role this season and he's much better for it. Adding consistency to his game, getting better all the time
Osman - £500k - brain still there but shouldn't really start games anymore, good sub option
Cleverley - £8m - looked good before his injury, links up play into attack very well
Naismith - £5m - effort & attitude excellent, good finisher, average at most other things. Occasional match winner
Deulofeu - £20m - excellent winger. Great dribbler, great crosser. Could improve shooting and decision making, which should come with more game time
Mirallas - £12m - on his day really good, but can be a sulk, very selfish. Fans like him, still a bit inconsistent
Pienaar - £250k - been injured since 2014, age isn't on his side, don't think he will be here after the summer
McGeady - £1m - good dribbler, that's about it. Doesn't concentrate enough
Kone - £1.5m - nightmare first two seasons, looked good in spells this season
Lukaku - £45m - goal scorer, plain and simple. We don't play to his strengths but he gets goals anyway. In the right team he could be one of the best around

And for me Aguero even with his injury issues would be £35m-£40m.

Aguero is worth 80million+ .. and i doubt we would sell him for less than 100million tbh, he's probably the best striker in the world

Like I said, I'm talking about what I think a player is worth, not what a club would need to be offered before they'd sell, both values are different. And £80m+ for an injury prone forward is ridiculous, although I certainly accept that City, given that they wipe their collective arses on £50 notes, would want stupid money.

Oh, and he isn't the best striker in the world.

No that title belongs to Jamie Vardy 10/10 man and worth a cool hundred mill.

Mahrez you can have for £50mill. All up front.

And if only that statistic 100% dictated who was the best striker in the world, you would have a point. Are you seriously telling me you'd have Aguero over Ronaldo and Messi? Not to mention Suarez. I'd have all three over him myself.

Messi and Ronaldo are wide forwards, i'm talking about out and out strikers ...you make a case with Suarez, it's close but Suarez often goes missing in hard games, Aguero is a big game player and often scores against the top teams, it's very close, hard one to call

Suarez is the Uruguayan Jamie Vardy, except the Leicester forward keeps his racial slurs for the Japanese and he's a vegetarian.

It'll be interesting to see if Aguero delivers at a big club in the big tournaments next year.

Tenuous semantics. It simply looks like you're moving the goalposts in an attempt to suit you argument to me. Either way, Messi, Ronaldo and Suarez are all better players for me, as said I'd have all of them over Aguero but as he's your best player when fit in not surprised you don't agree.

You seriously think most people would have Aguero over all three of those players. Suarez I could believe, especially in this country after the racism and biting thing but the other two? No chance.

EDIT - although perhaps you meant only Suarez looking again (although the end of what your quoted needed to be removed) in which case you're probably right, especially in England for the reasons I stated.

Aguero isn't really a big game player for his country but he is still a brilliant player and he would benefit any team. He's like Sturridge though, you can't rely on him for long periods with his injury issues.

Of course not, Messi and Ronaldo are the top 2 players in the world, they don't play the same position as Aguero though, i was only comparing to Suarez who's like for like ...reading the rest of the post i see you understood what i meant :2thumb:

Messi is not really a big game player for Argentina too, maybe it's there system or something :dk:

I'd take Suarez over Aguero for the record, even though he's an odious c***.

Suarez is at another level now he's at Barca with class players, but in terms of a goalscorer Aguero is the best.
