Apologies if there is already a thread on this but i cannot find one if there is, i am just after a bit of help from anyone in the know.
It seems that Adult tickets if bought early can be bought for just £20 (kids free), instead of £36 and £18 for kids, but be in the neutral section.
So for instance if i buy them and Grimsby get to the final could we then swap and go in the Grimsby end, or would we be stuck sitting in the neutral section?
I like the idea of potentially saving £34 but not if i am stuck in a section with no atmosphere, but if i am allowed to swap them then i think it is worth taking a £20 risk in the hope that we get to the final.
Anybody who knows more info will be much appreciated thanks!

Last year they gave you a voucher and if your team were at wembley your voucher got you a ticket with the rest of your fans

Just a money making exercise afaic. Let's say for the purpose of this argument that Grimsby fail to get to Wembley, will the fans who got themselves tickets travel all the way down to Wembley to see two sides they couldn't care less about? Not forgetting that they would be in a terrible mood after not making the final.

Disclaimer. I don't want this scenario to unfold, ie I want to see Grimsby go up, but it's a possibility.

edit - Don't think you've got anything to worry about GTFCfISH as it's stated on the vanarama website that tickets would only be printed after the finalists are known so fans can choose where to sit. See last paragraph -

http://www.vanarama.co.uk/latest-news/the-vanarama-big-day-out-ticket-information.html

I think I'll make an effort to go and watch this in person. Much better than sitting on the sofa at home and watching it on the box.

I would not go all the way there to see 2 neutral teams no, but a £20 gamble to potentially get £54 of tickets i think is worth the risk now Beesknees has confirmed the ticketing info as i would rate our chances of beating any other play off team in the semis of at worst 50/50, so seems a good risk to take on £20.
Cheers for your replies Beesknees and Vanni, and i hope you get your wish Vanni and we will see you next year :)

Yeah, you're right I guess. That price sure is attractive, and tbh, that's perhaps the main reason I may go.

I was only thinking of the money they will see if say two well supported clubs like Wrexham and Tranmere make the play offs as well.

Got my ticket, can't wait.

It will be fun sitting next to my mate GTFC1979 watching Dover v Braintree.

Tbf I was surprised how many neutrals were at Wembley in our play off game last year. Wasn't it £10 last year though??

This doesn't apply to Cheltenham Town FC. So I will not be wasting my valuable time ordering tickets to see two noddy teams fighting for a place to join Cheltenham in the football league.

Not bothering, we probably won't even make the play offs and if we do we'll probably get beat in the semi finals.

Wouldn't take 7/4 odds at the bookies of Dover making the play off final so not worth me buying tickets now. Couldn't think of anything worse than watching Forest Green beat Grimsby at Wembley

That would be worse. But that'll be a semi final if they make it

So we could well be playing Braintree 3 times in the next month. #footballingfeast

If we're still in with a chance come the last day of the season, expect an INVASION. There's been talk of organising a one off football special train, given the high demand + length of journey.

Been to games at the Crabble against Margate when there about 200 in the ground. We could be bringing 5 times that ourselves if we're still in the title race. How times change....

If that's the case then we'll probably have about 1500 of our own up there, would make for a decent atmosphere in a small ground. Although the novelty might have worn off by the third fixture

Best really is for people who buy these in hope that doesnt happen then can sell them onto fans in the finalists forum or for the few on here that support Dover or Braintree , at cost price.

Is there anyway that this cant happen? Cant see that you nominate your team when you buy them?

So if you buy these tickets as a fan on the supporters forum via Paypal and if the tickets dont arrive its a certain refund- dont see the problem in doing that myself?

There is no way that I would buy a ticket in blind hope, the way we are playing just now suggests odds are less than 50:50 we will be in the final so its too much of a chance. The club Wembley seats for a neutral cant be any fun at all
