So Vardy has been hit with an improper conduct charge and a 20k fine. Though it's not a definite he could be subject to an extended ban.
So are the powers that be going to fuck over our title charge or what?

Well he was aggressive but anymore so than most players when sent off in controversial circumstances?

If you depend on him alone, you don deserve the title.

They should be fine without him against Swansea and United, I'd still expect them to pick up points from those games.

I assume that the FA will also be going down some sort of poor performance route with Moss as well. It is clear that a ref has truly had an horrendous match when he manages to leave both teams fuming with him at the end.

Seems to me that the FA are quick to punish players (I'm not saying Vardy doesn't deserve whats coming to him by the way) but are happy to push shoddy refereeing performances under the carpet

Do they have another reliable striker that'll bag them the odd goal or two? Either that or they could do what Chelsea did from January when Costa was injured and just shut up shop, and nick a goal here and there and they should still do it.

Ulloa and Okazaki will be sufficient against Swansea I'd have thought, and in my opinion United's desire for possession at home will see Leicester do a job on them like they did at City. Mahrez etc. could become important at that point.

We don't have a prolific striker, but Mahrez has 16 for the season in the league so we have a goalscorer and Ulloa was last seasons top scorer for us.
There's a few thoughts on the side we play against Swansea and that's to just whack Ulloa in in place of Vardy, perhaps swapping the Okazaki and Ulloa roles around so Shinji is the one making the runs as Ulloa is sloth like. Or there's the idea that Demerai Gray gets a start on the left, Albrighton moves right into his natural position and Mahrez goes central with one up front. Or Dyer plays on the right, Mahrez moves into the middle and supports the Japanese international.
The first requires less messing with the side but there's no way we can play with the same pace in our game with Ulloa and Okazaki up front. The latter 2 keep us going with pace, Mahrez becomes harder to mark out of the game as he can drift wherever he likes but it's more of a diversion from our usual starting lineup.

The problem is that Ulloa and Vardy are polar opposites in terms of style and by playing Ulloa in a lone striker role is likely to mean Leicester losing that counter attacking threat that has worked for them so well all season. Let's face it, Leicester are far from a possession type of team so I'd certainly be more tempted to go with either Okazaki or Mahrez in the Vardy role to keep that element of pace when they turn defence into attack

This imo, you could probably point out a good few others throughout the season at various points where players have acted similarly and not been handed extra bans, Imagine Leicester may be trying to find examples of these as evidence to try and keep Vardy's ban from being extended.

The topic is about Vardy's ban potentially being expended, not Leicester's record without him ffs stop going off topic..... :animatedf: .....

In the cups we played without him. In terms of 90 minutes we beat Bury, drew with West Ham (won in extra time) drew with Hull (lost on pens) drew 2-2 with Spurs and then lost to Spurs in the replay. But the sides that played int eh cups was nothing like he side we start in the league.

It's about time Vardy got pulled up on his diving. And his reaction to the red card was mostly shocking, I hope the FA make an example out of him.

He's turning into Rooney (albeit a goal scoring version), disgraceful stuff innit?
England's top goalscorer is in with a great chance of ending his career as Mancester United's top goalscorer also, he'll probably be referred to as Sir Wayne Rooney soon.

This is getting quite funny really. Oppo fans all crying out that Vardy is a serial diver. Fans that presumably didn't watch a Leicester game or give us the time of day until it looked like we could win the league.
It seems as though people simply paint him as a diver because he's won a lot of penalties. Which ones weren't pens then? Have a look back and they're penalties. This one wasn't and he's paid the price. It's not like he's Ashley Young.
Amazing how people are conjuring things up.

It's really cruel when the underdogs lose their best player during the run in, just like when Liverpool lost.......Jordan Henderson during their run in that time.

Come off it, he's always throwing himself into defenders, granted he's normally better at it than he was the other day.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.

It does seem a bit harsh. Like you say, it's not like doing that to refs is anything new.

Start next season with a new rule about it, but not fair to change policy mid season.

Don't get all this conspiring against Leicester rubbish City fans are coming out with, the only person they should be blaming for yesterday is Jamie Vardy, regardless of deserving a yellow card originally or not, once on a booking to then risk diving and then rightly getting a second yellow arguably cost Leicester and the reaction again deserving of a punishment. He's let Leicester down.
