Steve Bruce is eyeing his fourth victory in a row on home soil as he faces his former club Wigan on Saturday.
Bruce’s Villa are unbeaten in B6 so far this term and the boss is eager to keep this going against the Latics, a club he served for two years from 2007 to 2009. (text robbed from AVFC.co.uk)

I think 2-0 seems most likely. Although if Villa score early it could be a very long afternoon for us. The best chance we've got is to keep the game at 0-0 for as long as possible and hope that Wildschut's pace can grab us a goal from somewhere.

that was looking like another 0-0 until the 88th Super Jack Grealish

3 points off play-offs, lovely. I think if we strengthen where we need to in January (central midfield and possibly a winger or two), we should cement a play-off position by the end of the season to fuck up.

Came for a point, defended well and almost got it but for a moment of magic from Grealish. Fair play to him, a good day had at the Birmingham Christmas market supping German double pints before the football. We go again on Wednesday. Good luck to Brucey and the Villa until March.

Glad you enjoyed the German market. It pops up every December and is awesome albeit a tad expensive
