And I thought a defeat device was a condom. Well you learn something new every day. Or annually if you are a Sun reader.

Could every owner of a VW diesel car sue for their money back?
Could VW go out of business because of this?
What happens to SEAT, Audi, Skoda and Porsche which are all, IIRC, part of the VW group?

Personally, I blame VW for taking the pig off the front pages. And back under a prospective prime-minister's duvet where it probably belongs.

So what should be done to VW?

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
If I were to be brutal I don't think most drivers will give a flying t*ss about the environment

what could of course murder VW is the compensation because them same drivers who won't care about the environment will care about possibly getting money back and the bill for this could be horrendous.

but then you can argue is it VW that should be sued or certain groups of people who deliberately did this....who was in the know.

lots of cans of worms.

That's not brutal, it's the truth. 99% of VW diesel drivers won't give a shit as long as the genuine emissions won't result in increased running costs.
