Stockport County.
Parkinson arrested outside the ground.

Could be a very, very big story this.

How the hell didn't he score? 3 yards out and I think he hit it straight at Addai.

Our goal from a flick on from a throw. I think the defender may have wrong footed the keeper (touch?) and the Grimsby reject gets his 17th goal of the season. Feed the Orsi!

Close game but Wimbledon lost their way when Bugiel went off.

Our 2nd clean sheet in a row. First time with done that in about 2 seasons.

Casey
From my vantage point behind the goal it looked like a worldie save from your keeper. Others around me agreed. Credit where it's due.

Well that was bonkers. If I was a neutral I might have enjoyed it. As it was, jesus wept.

Lewington must have said something pretty bad to the ref to get a strait red. Maybe 'How much did Wrexham pay you' :bg:

One of those odd games where both teams probably feel a bit hard done by! a mad one.

I've got a feeling they will, although I did say the same when we played yourselves and Stockport recently. But looks like our captain has broken his ankle aswell now. So along with others out injured that's 6 key players that would certainly get into our strongest 11 Booth, Williams, Offord, Tabiner, Powell and Long all out.
Has he? Where have you heard that? I'd be surprised if that's what he's done given he walked off under his own power on Saturday and even ran on it briefly. I have no doubt he's done something, like a bad sprain or maybe torn some ligaments, but I can't see him being able to walk/run on a broken ankle.

You beat me to it

An impressive hat trick.
Blatant penalty not given against Bradford, Lewington not sent off for stamping on Cannon in the first half, and an event more obvious penalty not given at the end for wrestling Palmer.

We do have calls against us aswell.

Totally agree.
Hard to know what to take away from it, we had a lot of chances that we didn't do enough with, we were massively on top with the man advantage and should have had a penalty right at the end....I also think Boyle was a little unlucky, first yellow was soft and the striker bought the second yellow which was naive of Boyle, Parky should have took him off to.

But that was a goal, and he doesn't get sent off if that doesn't happen and we go 2-1 down and very likely lose the game....Plus Okonkwo makes a great stop in added time that MK should have finished.

A point is a decent result, so will take that with several of our important players rested.

Of course you do, would be bizarre if you didn't, just not as many as other clubs.

The main Town pod, The Fishy, the WhatsApp groups I'm in...all toxic as fuck so I'm staying away. God knows what Twitter is like.

Morecambe away looks like a bit of a tricky one but probably less trickier than anyone at home right now. I bought Wimbledon and Sutton tickets yesterday so might reward myself with a week off watching them this weekend and get out the house without my phone at 3pm.

Me too, not read the fishy for years, but stopped following all gtfc relegated twitter two weeks ago and muted my WhatsApp groups this weekend. This is my only place for gtfc related stuff now! Never done this even in previous relegation seasons so shows how toxic everyone is right now

All teams have calls for and against them, but it's the blatancy of them that is frustrating.

Lewington's 'stamp' to me looked like an old man trying to avoid just that once your player had gone over and stuck a leg up. That 'wrestle' was 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. I've not seen the penalty decision but you get that sort of thing all the time at this level, we've not had one given for us this year...

But the two goals I've seen for Notts County and now us are ridiculously bad, to the point of the only people in the stadium not seeing it being the linesman on that side and the referee. That's why there are staff and players calling into question the fairness of refereeing when you are involved, not just fans.

Williamson following on from Maynard as being another manager who thinks decisions should be given based on "the reaction of players". Again I think it was over the line but I don't see how anyone could say for certain in the split second it happened, so can the goal actually be given?

You can tell all these clubs have been waiting to push this against us but they've had to wait until February to actually see some debatable decisions go in our favour. Not been anything all season up until now.

A mistake is a mistake though, if both penalty decisions were given there is every chance we would have won both games and be 5 points better off then we are. In the exact same way that if the Notts decision had gone the other way, and the ref made the correct call last night then we probably would have been 5 points worse off.

Anyway, I won't argue the point with you as I agree that you were screwed last night....Hope you get the good karma to balance it out somewhere.

Williamson's been very complimentary of you to be fair and the reaction of the players is a fair point. Everybody, including your own players closest to the goal, knew it had gone in. When the ball is in the side netting, it's pretty clearly a goal. Shambolic refereeing.

I've seen a lot of Wrexham fans moan about the red cards you've got, but instances worth a red card are a lot harder to ignore than dubious decisions like the Notts County/MK 'goals'.

I don't think we've had a red all season that wasn't the correct decision to be honest and we've had a LOT. Even last night, the second yellow was a dive but Boyle sticks his leg there so he's asking for trouble.

And that's my point there. I'm sure there's no actual corruption going on and that most referees are trying to do their job properly, but the nature of the beast that is Wrexham means that you know there's a good chance you will be a part of the doc and when you get refs like that last night it's no surprise that there are barmy decisions that go in Wrexham's favour.

The Notts County and MK Dons decisions aren't the same, the NC one is debatable at best.....The MK one is a goal, only issue is whether the officials could see if it went over, and if they couldn't then it is still a rubbish call.

Plus you'd have to make an incredibly bad decision to actually get ON the documentary, there's hardly any actual match action shown on it.

Nice to hear another one to add to the 'its debatable' camp.

I think we might now outnumber it's clearly a handball/hit his stomach lot.

Great game that. We finally showed that we can perform away from home and thought we deserved the win. Some players really stepping up this last week. The rotating of our starting 11 is looking to really benefit us with the Tuesday- Saturday fixture list.

We have had a few decisions go our way this last week which I would say is out of the ordinary. For some reason Notts had a delusion about this all last season but I really couldn't see it. Always going to be highlighted when it's us and like others have said on here others are still going against us. Lewington for one should have been off within half an hour. Could see that from where I was stood (miles away) from the pitch.

Stadium MK was very impressive but not sure I could get used to the surroundings. Pretty soulless.

Yeah "for some reason" not sure where those lot (and others) got it from last season.

I saw little evidence (if you exclude Paul Mullin). I strongly suspect that it wasn't helped by the over defensive responses from the 'new' Wrexham fans, whenever anything Hollywood, wages, transfer fees, or perceived dodgy officiating in their favour were mentioned. And that was very often tbf :bg:

Thankfully the upwardly mobile Dragons aren't anywhere near as triggered this season and look on course for League One, as expected by many.

Can one of the Wrexham fans actually show this blatant penalty because for the life of me I can’t remember it? Nor was anything really said at the time. I do remember Mullen being the cheating scouse rat he is a number of times and throwing himself to the ground, but shockers no. He should look at his conduct if he wants to be taken more seriously by refs in the professional leagues, they’re shit but they haven’t been to the pub because the game like in that Sunday league he’s used to.

Speaking of bad decisions involving Wrexham, there would have been another scandal had Kavanagh not missed a sitter as the refs assistant flagged for offside when he was a mile on, luckily he missed.

I don’t for one minute think Wrexham or anyone else would buy refs. But I remember when we had a big Boxing Day clash with Sunderland which was one of the main games on their documentary as it turned out, plus a record league 1 attendance. What happens, Jack Payne struck the ball and it went far further over the line than that one last night, no goal. Doesn’t look good on the documentary if Sunderland don’t win though does it.

It’s ridiculous that goal was not given to MK. Incompetent officials as per.

I actually watched the last half an hour on a dodgy stream as the Inter Milan vs. Atletico game was so dull - never a penalty at the end, was excellent defending at the back post by Norman (I think) to do enough to stop Palmer having a free header.
