Well then, quite a big game this. Not sure how a 2 week break will have affected us, but I'd like to think that it will have given us a rest and that the players will be fit and firing to come out and get right into the Blades with a quick start. Or, alternatively, we might look leggy and not match fit, handing the advantage to the opposition. I just look down the Blades team with Adkins in charge and expect them at SOME POINT to kick on and win 8 or 10 in a row - hopefully that doesn't start Saturday.

How many have the Blades sold? I'd like to think it would be a bigger gate than normal, but you never know with the Walsall public and people might actually have one eye on Christmas so could start picking and chosing games.

I think 5 points would be an excellent return from Sheffield United (H), Swindon (A) and Bradford (H) with all 3 in a week. So let's see what we can do in this game.

I'd happily take a point but hope we can win.

No Sadders! You need to predict a loss, this is the way it works :bg1:

Need Bradshaw to get a few goals for this one, seems a while since he last scored

Yep, it's been 5 or 6 games now. Fortunately his work rate and pulling around of centre backs is providing goals for others. We are on our hottest scoring run of the season over the last few games and he hasn't scored a goal. It's nice to have had a few goals from all over the pitch in recent weeks. As to whether that keeps happening, who knows.

At least it keeps the scouts away

Apparently we have 13 different goal scorers this season? That is ridiculous and very much the trait of a team that goes up.

Whilst TB hasn't scored for 5 or 6 games we would miss his dynamic immensely.

Dunno about this one - I am just waiting for the bubble to burst lol.

Should be winning. Woodwork twice and a treble save by Long. Will lose this 1/2-0.

Walsall completely dominated the 1st half played us off the park. Was very pleased how we came back into it in the 2nd half much much better, should of had a blatent pen too from my angle and a sending off. Still looked very ropey at the back though again all the way through. Also looked much better when sammon came on for sharp i dont know how sharp is still getting a shirt, and its the 1st time iv seen final whistle too since pboro away, so that says something about an improved 2nd half

Yeah we battered them first half, should have been 3 or 4 up but it wasn't to be. Second half came out in the right way and got the goal but then started to get sloppy which allowed them back into the game with a goal. Felt Milan and Morris were dangerous but ran down way too many blind alleys and Morris in particular was quite sloppy on the ball - but when the did break through they caused Sheffield United a lot of problems. I'm not overly upset we didn't get all 3 points, Deano is blaming the ref but I feel he was poor and inconsistent for both teams. The only person we have to blame is ourselves as we got very sloppy on the ball after Bradshaw scored. I think 2 points dropped - but the 1 point is still decent all the same.

SU had the more clear cut chances.

We had the better of the ball.

Definite penalty.

Our play in the final third was woeful .
