For some reason iv decided to go im really not sure why. Surely to god theres got to be some sort of improvement shown , you would think they may be concentrating on wembley at the weekend as they dont have too much to play for other than that but at the minute id probably back there reserves to beat us.

Comfortable away win, although ROD will be looking to keep United out.

Trust me we really can never mind a team with no plan B we have no plan A. And in all seriousness the previous wins against notts county and rochdale werent really deserved both probably should of been draws.

Be about 8-0 to the Blades this, our players literally won't get out of jogging pace. Won't compete, won't tackle, won't extend themselves. If Blades turn up it could be a real embarassment.

Thats what were doing every game at the minute anyway so we could be in for a thriller

For just the one evening, there will be three big clubs in the Black Country. Two A50 derbies on the one night.

Given the recent behaviour of some Wolves fans and two of the three Sheffield clubs playing 8 miles apart, would have thought the West Midlands Constabulary would have changed one match or the other. And Derby also at home too.

If your players just sit behind the ball we wont be able to break you down, hit us on the counter once and Turner will let you score. 1-0 easy and barely any energy wasted.

The majority of our games go like that, we have around 60% possession but never threaten and always look vulnerable to a counter or set piece.

If it was a saturday then maybe there would be a chance of some bother but not tonight certainly none involving us

If Benning plays instead of Taylor we'll lose. Bradshaw could be out with a tight hamstring as well, I doubt we'll risk him when we have the final of Sunday and a competent back up now in Hiwula.

Again? Fucking hell. The club needs to spend a few grand sending Bradshaw to some hamstring professional during the summer. He's worth it, if he could play 46 games a season, there's 25+ goals there, a few grand is an expenditure that's definetely worth it. Taylor injured?

Yep, "picked up a knock" has Taylor. You'd think with all the Wembley money we afford to send him to two or 3 specialists! Just hopefully not the same ones we sent Mantom to! :D

That was an absolute fucking disgrace yet again. Started brightly took the lead then just went more negative and negative as the game went on. Walsall could and should of had 4 or 5 in the 2nd half fucking piss poor

Shows how much I know, I thought Benning was actually the best of the back four tonight :fl:

Sheff Utd were really, really poor. Their only bit of quality was the goal from Baxter which was a great bending effort.

Incoming 3 year deal for Grimes :bg:

Well Sheff Utd... Thanks.

Had a five fold.... Wolves, Sheff Utd, Bury, Atletico and Watford, 59.48/1 had a tenner on it.

Cashed out just before half time with 4 winning, only 51 quid but a profit, when Watford made it 5 winning I was sweating... Then Dem Blades blew it. Ta

A bit of light relief on a shit night in the Midlands.

According to Clough it was another good away point. At 1-0 up we told Walsall to "come and break us down" ... Great tactics Nigel because that's exactly what they did. Is this guy for real? Early this week he was still protesting we are not underperforming and saying he hoped to bring another in...think we've already signed over 20 since the end of last season.

Fair play for going mate, rather you than me atm.

And apparently we shouldn't expect 3wins from Vale, Scunny and Crewe at home as not many teams will win 3 on the bounce at home

We will do well to win 1

Clough's tactics were abortion, time wasting in the first half?

Sheff U were there for the taking, we are just SO pedestrian when we get into the final third.

Benning was MOTM for me, didn't put a foot wrong.

You created enough chances in the 2nd half to win the game easily. Just shit finishing. Our manager is a disgrace we looked decent in the 1st half hour then obviously at half time mr negative strikes again

Really not sure what's going on in Clough's head right now, seems delighted to get these away points which is all well and good if you are winning at home. But we aren't. It would also make sense to protect 1-0 leads if we had a defence that doesn't concede every game. But we don't.

Our play is slow and unadventurous and usually ends up with aimless balls being whacked into space. And it doesn't work for us, as Clough should know. Get it on the floor, pass and move with a bit of urgency and go out and try to win games.

I fear for the atmosphere on Saturday if we don't have a go at Vale, it doesn't take much for Blades fans to fall into a pit of despair but if we fall out of the play offs with another performance like we've seen in the last month then it'll get nasty very quickly.

And rightly so too. Iv never ever turned on a manager once i never wanted robson sacked or blackwell. I never wanted wilson appointed but to be fair he did a decent job and had us playing some cracking stuff so in the end i didnt want him sacked either. David weir had a shocking start so maybe i could have no complaints but i seriously believe clough is the most negative and depressing of the lot. I know its a common comment thats made but i really dont think he knows what hes doing , what hes trying to achieve. In all fairness hes been a manager nearly 20 years i think and doesnt have 1 promotion on his cv

You sound like us a couple of months ago. Thankfully Grayson saw sense and changed it, can't see Clough doing the same.

I can't believe he's getting away with being 17 points off of automatic promotion. He's moulded his squad, and himself as well as the players are massively underachieving.

Its unthinkable you could miss out even on the play offs.

I'm not sure he's getting away with it, he is under pressure and any more games without a win will make it very uncomfortable for him.

On reflection Unitedites have been very patient with what has been - cup apart - a really poor season. Without the League Cup Semi I'd go as far to say he may have been out on his arse. It was bad enough to have the horror run of November and December, but to have another shitty run in March is unacceptable given the resources made available to him.

We've got Vale, Scunny and Crewe all at home for the next three games. Any less than 7 points and Clough's got a real problem. I think he'll get the season, but if we miss the play offs he'll be gone without a doubt. If we somehow manage to get promoted, all this will be forgotten...
