Would take a point here, if we can just avoid defeat going into three home games against struggling teams I think it'll do us the world of good. Coming up via train for this one, so it should be a good day out regardless

This will be a good gauge of the diamond formation JED seems to be favouring, especially are Coventry were beyond awful. Think we might nick a win, especially as they had to travel to Millwall to play yesterday!

Never been to the Bescot before, any recommendations for parking/drinking Walsall fans?

You can park at the ground. Fairly large away car park that only gets filled up when the away side sell out. If not, street parking is plentiful.

Don't drink myself so I don't know too much, but I hear the Saddlers Club at the ground is really good with lots of away fans coming away giving it good reviews.

As for the game, we have been much, much improved over the past 4 games. Scoring 10 goals and conceding 5, 2 home wins and 2 away draws. The two home wins were 4-1 against Sheffield Utd and 3-1 against Bristol Rovers, whilst Northampton have conceded 10 in their past 2 away games - a win is definitely on the cards for us looking at recent form. So in true Walsall fashion we're going to lose 2-1.

The game last night was probably the most thoroughly boring and tedious waste of an evening I can remember. Both ourselves and Walsall seemed to accept a draw after about 10 minutes and spent the rest of the game hoofing it to each other's defenders. Oztumer looked half decent, and the centre half with a beard was extremely clever in being subtly physical with Morison, but that aside I really have no idea how good Walsall are.
