Well, this could be absolutely anything. Our home and away form couldn't be anymore polar opposite. Dale have one of the best attacks in the division and have already walloped us 4-0 this season, although we did take revenge in the JPT. Bradshaw won't make it, so it will be Grimes to start again and Hiwula off the bench. Thankfully we have shown signs of the entire team mucking in with more of a goal threat recently. Forde has scored twice recently and Cook scored and assisted last weekend at Doncaster.

If we score early I can see us winning this, if we concede early with the fluid nature of Dale's attack then I can see us capitulating and getting caught on the counter and losing heavily again. In true Walsall style, after starting the week with a really good win, we will D-L the other couple of games in the week. Our home form is terrible and has been for years really (bar league 2 and 1 4 month spell 2 seasons ago).

0-2 Dale. Hope I'm wrong though, we are capable, just poor at home.
3,043 with 211 for the NW.

Will dale be the same threat without Matty Done? Some of their supporters certainly think so, one infact predicted a 5-0 win on there own forum. 2-1 Walsall.

Done ruined us in the league game at Spotland, the fact they no longer have him makes me feel a lot more comfortable.

Jack O'Connell is back on loan, fantastic news! Maybe today we will also finally see Brandy?

Wouldn't be a surprise to see Brandy win a penalty, be some karma back after he earned us so many! Hiwula straight in for Grimes tonight, thank god.

No we can't defend. Same theme as the Coventry game, 3 pathetic goals. Not that Walsall will care.

But for some abysmal defending first half we would of won that game easily. We made Walsall look bang average for pretty much the whole of the second half. Thought O'Donnell was extremely fortunate not to be booked, not seen time wasting so bad from a keeper for quite some time. The referee was weak to it until the 93rd min, still failed to book him though.

Least your players stuck with you, glad we won. Sounds like we got pushed back in the second half, but the opposition are allowed to play well. Fair play for making early changes and coming back into it. Was always going to be a tough game. 3 home goals, 3 home points! A shot up the table.

Our saving grace is our games in hand. But points on the board I would much prefer. We are the lowest position now that we've been in for months.

Pathetic first half, brilliant second half but you can't expect to recover from 3-0 down after about 20 mins. Deserved at least a draw for our efforts but at the same time deserved to lose for the horrific defending.

Fair play for Dale for never giving up, but very happy with the 3 points and 3 goals.

Dale went VERY, VERY direct with both Vincenti and Andrew up top and our team of midgets had a tough time dealing with it. Second half we just kept giving the ball away, carried 3 forwards and Dale obviously just wanted it more.

Very good victory though, Dale are a top team and we got the 3 points, excellent stuff lads.

My god we were terrible in the second half.

I think a subbuteo player has more strength than Baxendale. He needs a good loan somewhere to regain some confidence.
