I'm listening on Radio Kent and was just about to post that I'd be happy for a 0-0 when Bradley's put it through the keepers legs!

Gillingham must of been watching the UFC last night with the way they kicked us off the park today, real sunday league stuff first half from them.

Typical Walsall at home, 30 chances, no goals - the opposition counters and then scores. Thank fuck for Ashley Grimes, absolute goal machine... :fl:

By the way even though I was down the other end of the pitch, it day look a penalty to me as the amount of contact needed to get the ball as far away and strongly away as O'Connor did meant he must of got a vast majority of the ball. I could be wrong but I doubt it.

Hugely frustrating this home form is. Bossed that game from start to finish and restricted gillingaham to practically nothing. Should have been 1 or 2-0 at HT but as soon as we dont do it you just know the opposition goal is coming. I am frustrated but not too downbeat as the general play and chance creation was good.......we've just got to be much more ruthless. Thats rinse and repeat for about the last 4 or 5 home games now. Bradshaw off and holding the hamstring so thats him gone for a good 6 weeks which is a worry.

Agree Joe on the penalty by the way. I faceplamed when the challenge went in. It looked like GBH from about 120 yards away so glad that we got away with that one. Minimum we deserved was a draw there but a clinical team would have won by a comfortable margin.

Ashley Grimes, HAHA. First goal since April 2013 I think.

Yep, his last was for us against Southend I believe on the date you have mentioned! Was it a tap in?

Yep, how did you guess? A few yards out.
Just with him finally scoring haha, he used to have a real eye for goal actually, he was just lazy 99% of the time which let him down, now he's lazy and doesn't score either. Unless he's suddenly stopped dragging his heels now that is.

I thought Grimes looked quite lively.

A few points;

- Gillingham reminded me of Stevenage, no interest in playing football.
- The ref lost control of the game.
- The Gills keeper pulled off a few fine saves.
- I think its time to give Sawyers a rest.

This certainly hasn't been the case for us this season at all. Stevenage are a hoofball team who have a very cynical side. We are a team of midgets with a powderpuff midfield. If we finally stood up for ourselves then good, but 'no interest in playing football'? Nah, don't buy that.

There were some terribly cynical fouls by your lot. Purely subjecture, but the fact the referee didn't clamp down on it immediately caused them to get far worse.

McGlashan thought it would be a good idea to push James Chambers into the concrete hoarding, absolutley no need the man could have suffered unimaginable kinds of injuries.

McDonald was tackled by O'Connor, perfectly timed. The ref gave a corner and Cody was apopleptic, silly.
