Easy home win I'm afraid. 3-0.

We always a make a meal of games people think we ought to win or do well in..

Plus we've had 2 very good league results..

Mind you maybe Tuesday was the blip!

Horror Tackle for the red card, no complaints.

Happy with our performance in the 2nd half, nullified Brighton even if we didn't threaten ourselves, showed a good team spirit which is encouraging after last year.

I'd be concerned if I was a Brighton fan, they played well and did look like scoring for the 10 minutes after we went down to 10, but after that they never looked like scoring despite their dominance on the ball.

They won't get a better chance to open their account than today.

Brighton = this season's Middlesbrough. Impotent and forgettable.

Yes was stupid and reckless by Britos..

Thankfully the rest of the team got him out of jail in a sense.

Brighton actually had more chances when 11v 11.

We held out quite well in the end - midfield was very good and Silva used his subs/change of tactics well

That tackle - what a fucker. He was trying to "do" Knockaert with that, no question.

Can I just say that the indirect free kick rule in the penalty area is a ridiculous rule. If its a foul and worthy of a free kick, surely it should be a penalty if in the area?

Yes I agree, it's weird and doesn't make any sense. I get it for a back pass but seems illogical for a high foot.

Britos wasn't even looking at the ball - he was looking at the player's calf.
