Didn't get battered, didn't sound like we were awful on the radio, didn't drop out of the playoffs. Certainly went better than it usually does.

Agree we lack something off the bench but Jatta can hopefully be that soon.
Nutts looked good but we can defend

We've got 4 more away games yet this month which is a terrifying thought.

Hollywood Wrexham with all the money they have and they're not even in the top 3 and it's already February.

They got beat off little Salford! You can't buy your way out of this tinpot league.

See you next season!

Fairly straightforward win vs toothless MK Dons in the end. A poor game for the first 75 mins, but could’ve been 4-0 by the end.

We’ve got loads of home games still to play and played most of the top teams twice now - I really think we can keep pushing til the showdown with Mansfield on the last day.

Atrocious game of football. Eight games without a win. Just not good enough. Not sure how much more of this football I can stomach. It's not even pub-level.

Didn’t get the rub of the green today really with a possible over the line one not given in the first half and then a penalty appeal on Langstaff which was, hilariously, basically identical to the one last week which Stags had such a complete headloss over.

Personally don’t think we can have too many complaints, yes we played some nice football and probably deserved a point at least but they were pretty clearly there for the taking if we could play with some intensity and match the physicality, and we couldn’t. Again.

Rubbish game draw probably fair lack of quality on show from both teams today.

Disgraceful performance. Been poor for weeks, getting the results the performances deserve now. Rule us out the autos, we'll just about get play offs but I won't bother looking for Wembley hotels. Shameful

I mean that's a bit ridiculous.

One shot on target between both teams says it all. Crewe had the better of the first half, we were the better side in the second. Chances few and far between, excluding Hawkes attempting to gift Crewe the winner with a horrendous back pass. Thought Walker had won it at the end for us, but not to be. Crewe were playing for a point for the entire second half, but neither side can have any complaints. Guess this means we might scrape a point at Gresty next season after our 20 year run of trading home wins has finally come to an end!

Overall didn't deserve to lose today but because it against Mansfield we do, as predicted at least four too many times (just to make sure!)

Thought both sides were very average tbh and often devoid of ideas. Agree with Jacob once again in this fixture we lack the necessary intensity, desire and physicality required to get a result. Seen it a dozen or so times before. Dull but expected.

Nigel needed that victory and he got it. You're welcome. He should be in a lot better mood this Saturday evening.

Harrogate defended the box extremely well. On another day we get a winner from all the pressure but they’ll be very pleased with that as away performance.

Looks like we’ve potentially got another season ending injury with MSH going off on a stretcher after bagging another assist. Thank god we signed a RB yesterday.

I thought Harrogate deserved a draw there. Can't have too many complaints really. If anyone deserved to nick it, it was us but respect the point a piece.

Not a brilliant performance today but solid is probably better. One of those where neither really shown any quality other than the goal, I don’t think they had a shot on target in the end but made some chances in the first half, County looked dangerous most when McGoldrick dropped deep and kept trying to make things happen - best player on the pitch today.

My prediction for Jodi Jones was correct, Clarke harassed him and mostly kept him in check, he started dropping to the floor while having a mardy - fortunately he spent the second half with his bottom lip on the floor which made it easier for us because he’s obviously quality. Langstaff did not bother to turn up against us again, was like playing with 10 men for County.

Regarding the phantom ‘goal’ it’s the first I’ve heard about it being over, so I’ll come back to that when I see footage, same with the penalty claim which I missed, if it’s the same as ours ie a County player turned one of ours in the box then got dragged down before he shot then yeah it’s a penalty.

Edit - a few on stagsnet saying it was over, some not so sure so closer than it came across to where I was sat.

Langstaff never seems to turn up for the high pressure matches, probably his main failing.

Looked good today unlucky not to get a hattrick ,should do his confidence good especially after missing penalty last week

If you can add a zero or two to the end of his value, we’ll be delighted! Was just devoid of confidence this season, but definitely some ability in there.

Complete waste of time today, it’s weird to see a player who’s scored so many goals perform like that.

I don't particularly rate him tbh. Think there's 5 or 6 better all round strikers at this level alone.

If I was Notts I'd take the money.

Hopefully you'll put more of them away too, you'll need to against Notts!

Good prediction this mate. :shut:

Nice to get another win over Notts tho. You'd think at some point they're gonna work on their up-for-it-ness levels in training before this fixture but until that happens I'll be happy to keep seeing us beat the soi-disant stylish ones.
