Carlisle away. Looks like a very tricky prospect. £10 a ticket too, not enough to encourage me to go mind you with the cost of the trains.

It’s really hard to drum up any enthusiasm for this. Normally Crawley are a team that we beat and with them coming off a difficult midweek fixture beforehand you would think it’s a great opportunity for us.

Unfortunately it seems we have fallen into playing a formation that doesn’t suit the players and though our goals against record is good we also are still prone to a silly mistake at the worst time. Who knows maybe we suddenly spring to life and start looking more like ourselves but I just think we’ve had too many obstacles to overcome and it’s caught us out this time.

Seems like we have been playing Sat-Tues-Sat for ages. Looked like it was catching up with us yesterday

Marvellous, Mark Hughes emerges from a Pannini sticker album to revive Bradford just in time for us to play them during a sticky patch of our own. *shakes fist at cloud*

Weekender in Liverpool, probably won't know the result until Sunday afternoon

Fingers crossed Trannys poor form continues. I'll be happy aslong as we get something

Got to say, they looked pretty good Saturday. Didn’t deserve to lose, tbh.

Haha same as, will probably wake up in a ditch somewhere in warrington sunday.

There’s almost part of me that’s like “right, you want to try and outfootball us” bring it on, but with these and port vale it could easily unravel, i’d be happy with a point

Not a good start to the week for us. CB Brandon Cooper has a knee injury and is possibly out for the season and Joe Tomlinson RB/LB is also injured and out for weeks. The club have announced they have gone back to their parent clubs for treatment. 17 goal Harry McKirdy is suspended for 2 games and misses these games. The timing of these injuries is awful and I really now think if we can escape with a point on Tuesday it will be a miracle.

That’s harsh on you guys. Obviously it’s great news for us, but I still don’t want to be too confident.

On the flip side, It’s highly likely that Jevani Brown will miss the game which is a big miss. Hopefully the extra day’s rest for our squad will help too. Josh Coley limped off at Mansfield so suspect he won’t start either. Would like to see Nombe and fit again Zanzala push for a start.

Should be a very good crowd for a Tuesday game. Any idea how many Swindon fans will make the trip?

Would have been a game i'd look at getting points from if 1)we weren't down already - chanelling my inner hellogregory - and 2)we'd need to score a goal first.

As always, the crowd is the first thing i look for. if its 2000 or less we've given up but if its 2,000-3,000 there's those still willing to go.

So, tomorrow. We’re missing - Barry, Lyden, Tomlinson, Cooper, McKirdy. Odimayo also went off but not sure if it was injury or cramp.

We’re stuffed.

From today news article, we’re hoping both Jevani Brown and Cheick Diabate will be back tomorrow after missing the Mansfield game. Massive news and with Swindon’s injuries and suspensions there’s only one outcome tomorrow. 1-0 Swindon.

Crawley at home, we have a bit of a hoodoo over Crawley (more so away than at home) but considering these are better than the likes of Rochdale and Colchester we are going to have to sort our problems out sharpish as this really is the last chance saloon now.

Need to change the keeper, Holy is crap, the image of the winner Colchester put on shows Holy the same height as 5'7 Worrall... Holy is 6'8! What is he doing crouching for a cross from a corner!

Need to ditch 3-4-3, not sure why Crosby is sticking with it, yes we look solid, yes we dominate games but dont actually create anything with it, we should of walloped Rochdale and Colchester with how bad they were... we came away with a point, go back to 3-5-2.

We look so so pedestrian, against Colchester we never looked out of 2nd gear and it bit us on the arse when they got a rare set piece.

If we can get a win by hook or by crook and close the 5 point gap then at least it sets up some humdingers against Mansfield, Bradford, Exeter and Sutton... fail to win and may as well start prepping to hit next season on the ground running.

Looking back at our season to date, when we played tranmere last we were either in the relegation zone or 22nd after the ridiculous run of injuries we’d had.

Including the tranmere game we’ve since played 18 games, winning 14 drawing 3 and losing 1.

Hopefully the return of tranmere doesn’t cause us to go on an opposite run

Welcome to our world, we have had at least that many unavailable pretty much all season.
Some are our own fault though, signing old injury crocks

At least 'Captain Fantastic' will be back! I also wonder how much time we can squeeze out of Jack Payne. I think it Exeter score early we'll be playing an excercise of just keeping the score down!

I don’t get the negativity surrounding Conroy - I think he’s one of the better CBs in L2. Tries the fancy stuff a bit too often seeing his priority is to defend, but he’s got a great long pass on him.

He's an alright L2 CB that just makes far too many mistakes for my liking. He's club captain which he possibly was given by default, but to me he doesn't have the right minerals for captain. I do agree with you about his long passes, he does have that in his game for sure. To be fair his passing is the best side of his game in my eyes, which is never ideal as a Centre Back in this division.

Too be fair even with all of our injuries we still have a reasonably competitive first 11. Where we are struggling is replacements off the bench

Everyone to their own opinion but prior to his last 5 games Conroy was one of the best centre backs in the league. Not sure how you can be given a captaincy by default! Again prior to his last few games he, along with, Payne, Reed, Williams & possibly Jo-Jo were playing a league BELOW their true level

Exactly the same with us Gas. I reckon we have had half a dozen players unavailable most games, not the same 6, I might add.

Signing a decent player with a terrible injury record in Lee Angol, was a risk we should never have taken

Abo Eisa has managed about 45 minutes for us since signing him in the summer, admittedly he didn't come with a history of long term injuries to my knowledge.

I've lost count of the number of hamstring injuries we have succumbed to this season.

Can't agree with you there, how many clean sheets did we get with Conroy in the side? The shambles of the start of the season meant that everything was a mess and so it made sense to give the captaincy to Dion as he was our most experienced member of the squad, that was what I meant with my rather churlish 'default' comment.

I'm not convinced Dion is playing below his level, I think he thinks he is better than he actually is. You clearly disagree, and I'd love to be proved wrong.

Loft got injured after a couple of appearances. I wonder what Scunthorpes training regeme consisted of, or even if they trained at all?
