Welcome back to the Premier League 'Ull City, or whatever they're called these days.

Eye bleedingly boring club.

Eye bleedingly boring club.

They could be more though, if they only had agreed to be called Tigers

Happy for the Spurs boys there; Dawson, Huddlestone, Livermore. Welcome back!

Bruce has underachieved with this Hull side. With the players at his disposal they shouldn't have been relegated in the first place, and they shouldn't have needed the play-offs to get up.

Looks like there'll be an American takeover too as Allam has supposedly agreed to sell.

This. The starting 11 yesterday were all plying their trade in the Prem last season. I reckon that the FA Cup was an unwelcome distraction but that in the end the quality of the players showed. Hull were the better side of the play-offs and deservedly went up.

I look forward at winning at the Emirates and Old Trafford next season.

About to be taken over by Americans too. Was hinted on a local journalist's live Facebook video that the new owners are affiliated with sports in the US.

Congratulations on your promotion, SoC. Brought a tear to my eye that did.:brill:

Two sides from Yorkshire in the top flight for the first time in...well, 8 years since it was both this lot before.

Would one of the sleeping giants please wake up? Seemed like Wednesday hit the snooze for another kip. Leeds are strung out...

Otherwise, I always liked Hull in the lower leagues, and found them one of the best sets of supporters I've come across since. I can't quite place why I don't really like them now. Maybe it's that ''Mauled by the tigers'' or maybe it's their berk of an owner, or maybe it's the 'we play in Amber' thing when it's clearly Orange. Anyway, you can't help falling in love, so well done Tigers.

Not being bitter because Hull thoroughly deserved to win yesterday, but they are a tedious Premier League team.

Thanks. What a time to be a football fan from around the banks of the Humber. Grimsby, Hull and North Ferriby all promoted.

The one from North Yorkshire. I'll give you a clue, it's not Burnley.
Nobody in Yorkshire really classes Middlesbrough as from Yorkshire though, do they?

Yeah, but isn't 'abolish' one of those words that rolls of the tongue?

Anyway, Yorkies won't ever have it, and nor will Smoggies, but hey, who cares.

Considering the teams that have gone up, I'm beginning to be glad we did go down. What a dull trio.

The Premier League seems to be littered with really dull football clubs from really dull towns/cities

We face the same here. Some awful cities in here. The press calls it the ' Verzwergung der Bundesliga' - the dwarfing of the Bundesliga.

I would have preferred Sheffield Wednesday, right trek to Hull.

But there we go.
