In fairness, there are 'proper' pubs within walking distance and if you are that bothered you can always go to places like Stony Stratford and get a taxi to the game..

Never again. Went to the JPT (I think) game 2 seasons ago. We got battered and Ishmael (the enigma) Demontagnac got sent off for one of the most pathetic kicks I have ever seen.

Unfortunately this wasnt the worst part of my evening. Me and my mate got a taxi from some pub to the ground, the taxi driver didnt drop as at the stadium as was requested, was still like a 10 minute walk away and he wouldnt drop us there for some reason. Likely because my mate had been sick en route, although to be fair in a plastic bag! I blame the excessive roundabouts. Jumped out the taxi to walk up to the stadium and my mate in a drunken rage (lightweight) threw the bag of sick at the taxi. Cue a dramatic run to escape being a victim of carmageddon. Taxi's to football now a no-no.

I really wouldn't recommend Milton Keynes taxis, at least the private hire ones, to anyone. They are all driven by Mohamed's brother and half of them have no idea where they are going. They all use the same driving license I think as every six months the police have a purge and you can't get a taxi for love nor money as they are all in hiding.

I only use them when I am pissed, working on the principle if we crash it won't hurt as much!

Scratch that, it's Fulham not Wigan.
Understandably - everyone loves a London away day, and you get a big allocation there, and Craven Cottage ain't that bad in itself!

What is this mixed end at Fulham then?

I've always seen some fans jump up and some fans stay say when goals have been scored at that end - but surely that is a recipe for disaster?!

A mixed section, at a football ground in the 21st Century - asking for trouble isn't it?!

someone told me that there is a neutral end at Stadium:MKScum...it holds about 22,000...

Balls Of An Ox,

That person is severely misinformed. The North Stand (gate 2) and in particular the North Corner (gate 3) are usually reserved for away supporters. The rest of the stadium is home supporters only. There was a 'neutral' area for the first meeting with AFC Wimbledon back in 2012 (in the corner through gate 1) but this was a one off event and the area was only open to around 500 people.

See the seating plan below for further details.

Yours insincerely,
Scumarmy.

You only get in trouble if you wake the more elderly Fulham fans up.

Stony is a good shout, but you do need to give yourself enough time to get down the A5.

Bletchley WMC have some sort of away fan special, so coming from London would probably be best heading there. Cheap too.

Best thing now is we won't have to play the Franchise again...possibly ever :)
You'll be back Balls Of Ox You'll be back. I am a member by the way. Only two quids worth mind. There but for the grace of the football gods and all that............. I meant to up my subs when I was more flush but never did. Good luck with the mission.. new stadium etc.
The locals round these parts take the P1ss out of us for going into admin twice in space of a couple o years, but.......... shhhh, between you and me its THREE times during my time following the club. They miss 1987, (the first time). They don't know about that one.... shhhh ! A record me thinks??

ps who holds the record for most points deducted ? That has to be the Millers ?? 40pts on my reckoning since 2006. 10 + 10 + 17 then +3 this year. CHAMPIONS !!! Most home grounds (3) ?? that could go to Bristol Rovers or Brighton or Wimbledon ?

Wow. No football related chat on a football forum! Would you believe it :O

I'll get the ball rolling. Currently out squad isn't good enough to to compete in this league. With no Alli, L. Baker, Grigg etc. Our low budget means Robison will have to do wonders in the loan market again (Bamford, Afobe).

Get on the phone to Mourinho and see if he fancies loaning that Solanke lad Robbo :)

You mean apart from the tens of thousands of posts about football in the hundreds of threads across ten sub-forums? No, guess not.

Now that the ashtrays are full and you haven't got any decent players, might I suggest you do the Winkelman shuffle and relocate to a new town. If you became, say, Real Pontefract or Borussia Taunton you could do the whole Groundhog Day thing and start afresh.

Anyway, Walkley Owl and a pap test of Bristol City fans will be along shortly to disabuse you of the notion that we don't talk football here.

Have to say, despite it being a big, plastic, bowl....it's quite a good one.

Always helps when you win but MK was one of my favourite away games last season, i'll probably go again this year too, especially as they can't beat us.

Looking through our team profiles, the striker department looks a bit bare at the moment. We have lots of defenders though, wonderful. We are going to struggle.

I liked MK Dons - apart from the fact it's never even half full, it doesn't have that 'bowl' type feel about it, because of the two tiers.

Atmosphere for away fans was pretty good as well - but we did have give or take 5,000, so you'd expect so.

We even generated an atmosphere at Coventry with decent numbers ffs

With this post and your username I wouldn't be surprised if you were a member of some ultra-right wing russian group. Are you a member of the Slavic Union by any chance?

Attendance: 15,642 (5,109 Bristol City fans)

Capped capacity: 27,000

= 57.93% full

This thread is going to keep on giving all season long.

Taxis driven by "Mohamed's brother"?
Percentage capacity figures to two decimal points?
Colour 3D diagrams of the ground?

It's like a cross between the Ladybird Book of Milton Keynes, a Maths GCSE paper and an EDL advert.
