I think Pellegrini realises it hence his interest in De Bruyne rather than any additional striker, If De Bruyne does come in though it could see Silva move out wide.

Well De Bruyne was average on the wing for Chelsea and has been in outstanding form in a central position for Wolfsburg. If they want a wide attacker then they are potentially making a huge mistake paying a huge fee for De Bruyne.

It's a mistake to pay £47m for him wherever they play him. As good as De Bruyne as centrally, Silva is better - no point in shifting Silva out wide to accommodate him. They'd be better off hijacking our deal for Pedro.
