Match day chat.

West ham have been a bit hit and miss this season, a giant killing on the first day of the season and also a win against Liverpool must have them pumped.

I can see them having a bit of a tough game, but should still win. 1-0.

Sticking my neck out with this fixture and going with a 3-1 home win, Bilić has a good squad to choose from and the fans will be expecting a solid performance.

Intrigued to see the line-up following the arrivals of Moses and Antonio, Bilic has options and will surely not pick the 3 DM lineups he did against Leicester and Bournemouth. Or at least if he does, then Payet shifted out wide and one of the new wide forwards coming in on the opposite flank.

3-1. Not yet confident in the defence at home, but we've had no problem scoring goals this season.

This will be my first ever Premier League game, only ever watched it on the telly. Be interesting to see how it compares to the Conference!

No Obertan in the starting lineup, you've gotta be pleased with that if you're a Newcastle fan.

Lovely goal, from the back heel in the build up to the finish.

Payet saves Moses some real embarrassment. Game over 2-0.

2-0.

After the Bournemouth game it was evident we were chronically short of pace out wide, Moses comes in and boooom.

i think you're missing the point in your rush to defend a club you totally don't support

Newcastle haven't been too bad until the final third where they have been toothless. Cisse is woeful. Not sure Colback is a good enough midfielder for a club of Newcastle's size either.

A solid all round team performance with possibly only Lanzini having an off night, Payet has proved to be a bargain at £11mil.

Cisse was a massive disappointment, just didn't look interested. I'll disagree with you on Colback though, he was by far Newcastle's best player, the amount of work he does off the ball was astounding, he looked the only Newcastle player who actually gave a shit. They were a typical McClaren side, set up not to lose, then when they went behind set up to not lose by many. If they actually want to get anywhere this year, Newcastle need to bin the tedious fucker off sharpish.

West Ham looked half decent, Tomkins was immense at centre half, Kouyate and Noble solid in midfield and, as mentioned above, Payet looks an absolute steal at £11m. Moses was the difference though, give the side so much pace and width and Newcastle didn't have a clue how to deal with him. Bilic also wants it seems to play decent attacking football, and was constantly encouraging his team to get the ball wide and forward quickly, but on the deck.

As I said before, my first ever Premier League game and I was surprised how slow it was, always looks quicker on telly! A thoroughly enjoyable night out, but at £45 a ticket, not something I'll be doing regularly. I'll stick to the Conference for now.

Was so happy when we bought him. Saw him a few times when at St Etienne and thought he'd be a French first eleven for years to come, but had forgotten about him in the intervening years, so assumed he'd gone off the boil. We were begging for a creative midfield fulcrum and I hoped he was the same standard player years back. Makes absolutely everything tick.

He's got such creativity and adds something new to the team, was absolutely class last night I still can't believe we got him for 11million.
