Nothing but a win will do for this game, otherwise it'll be second tier football next season, although there'll be extra security (mainly for the benefit of the owners) tensions will still be high as more protests are planned so I've heard.
Well that’s us gone. West Ham fans thought their board was bad.
Hopefully the relegation gets every c*** from the playing staff and every Chinese crook out of the club, as well as taking “small club” Krueger, sleep walking Reed, Fat Kat and and the shite scout Wilson with them.
So when I said you shouldn't be optimistic after the FA cup win because playing that way, 2 up top and 2 in the mid against a prem side would be suicide given the way Wigan bossed that first half, is that how its panned out today except with the addition of premier league standard finishing?
Yep, deserved win for West Ham, they just wanted it more than Southampton. TBH I was surprised by the appointment of Sparky, he seems to have carried on seamlessly from his Stoke days, a man perplexed by the brutality of PL football. I have to say that despite that I sort of hope it works out for him, he has always struck me as a completely genuine professional, nothing false about the man.
Of course I'd like to see Spam get relegated, but unfortunately there would appear to be little chance of that now. Moyes is another very genuine character and he may be rediscovering some of his Everton mojo. I thought he was the wrong appointment at the time, but he may be one of the few things the West Ham board have got right recently. It was a great result for his team at the time they really needed a W.
