With 99 goals to choose from, what goal do you think was the best of August in the top flight? The video below might help guide you, but feel free to reveal if you had the same or other goals as your picks! :)

Barclays Premier League - Top 10 Goals August 2015/2016 - GOTM

I posted this on another forum, which resulted in a great disussion, so hoping it might do the same here. As the video states, Coutinho is my #1. Due to lack of footage of certain goals such as Yaya Toure vs WBA and Nasri vs Everton, these are not included unfortunately. Hope you like the video/discussion anyway though!

Coutinho's goal was good, but i think the keeper could of done a bit better with that if i'm honest. The best goal for me was Giroud against Palace. With his back to goal he did really well to direct it into the bottom corner from where he was, and out of the reach of the keeper.

I can definitely see where you are coming from, the keeper should have done better, but it was still an immense goal. Giroud could be an alternative option for #1 for sure :)

Jerome v Palace...

Would have included it, if it wasn't for for that controversial decision not to allow it :)

which other forum did you post it?

Just a forum called thefootballforum net :)

Easy - Coutinho

It was a good powerful strike, but the keeper got a good hand to it and therefore should have saved it. It wasn't in the corner or anything.

Giroud's was much better.

Goalkeeper tried to save it but it was just impossible, powerful strike.

On this case I agree with G-Dragon. If you look at the part of the hand he touches it with, it really is impossible to divert it anywhere. A taller GK would've saved it though.
1. Giroud
2. Toure vs WBA
3. Coutinho

It looks like you agree with me, as you have got Giroud's goal as No1 :2thumb:

Yes I have, just because of the way he hits the ball with enough power and placement, even when doing an overhead kick and using the side of his foot. If I attempted that it would go 1 yard... to the side of me.
