along these lines.....I went into a kind of introduction meeting with the new manager of my team at work (he worked in the same department so we knew each other to pass the time of day but NOT in a working sense). Anyway...blah di blah & he gets on to the subject of targets & stats etc....I listened to the guy until he had given me a very informal assessment and I said to him.........."Kenny, believe me, you will get 100% from me, I am no shirker but I am retiring later this year so see they targets and stats.....you can stick them up your arse. I am not interested in the slightest. He looked at me then said....."I admire your honesty".
