Losing 1-5 at home to West Brom and losing at home to Burnley which all but confirmed relegation to league 1. Having Dean Saunders as manager as well.

That time Trotta hit the bar when scoring the pen would have promoted us in the final game, then losing the play off final 2-1 to a terrible Yeovil team later that season.

In hindsight, it's worked out pretty well, but I was distraught at the time...

Losing the FA Cup final to Pompey. If only Jones had started Ramsey...

Seriously though, nothing will ever come remotely close to that feeling when Zamora scored that goal. :(

When Ince was brought back for his second term as manager. I felt physically sick. He had left us for Blackburn, got sacked and sauntered back to little old MK as if nothing had happened.

Watching our defence not even bother to turn up for our play-off final (2011), allowing the manager we sacked the previous season to beat us.

Though we won the league the next season, so mostly forgotten.

Fortunately i'm not old enough to remember the 1995 playoff final which is almost all Reading fan's worst experience.

2005 play off final. We should have beaten West Ham. We were so much better than them that season. Serious case of what might have been.

Losing to Hull in the 08 play off final or in general the end of that season, dropping away from being top and then losing the play off final. Then the other parts about the final, Bradley Orr being injured early in the game and that the assist came from Frazier Campbell, who we had enquired about getting on loan a few times that season and Fergie had always told us he wouldn't be loaned out, then gets loaned to Hull. So many major what could have been scenarios in that season. Stoke won the league that season and now they have Bojan, Shaqiri etc playing for them. That was a lot more painful then relegation, relegation had been on the cards a season or two beforehand, but losing the play off final hurts the worst.

Worst experience I've had at a game was Earthquakes vs Galaxy (MLS). I live in the Bay Area, (Earthquakes area) but I support the Galaxy. Anyway, we went 2-0 up in 65 minutes, then Alan Gordon, who then played for them but is now in something like his fourth spell with us, scored. One of their defenders got two quick yellows (Mata still holds the record) and got sent off in the 77th minute. Going into stoppage time, still 2-1 to us. They scored in the 92nd and 93rd minutes, one of them of course from Alan Gordon, to give them the win. You probably have no idea what I'm on about. You kinda had to be there.

Worst experience in general, since I haven't been alive for a long time, is Aguero's stoppage-time winner against QPR to win the title.

Losing 0-3 at home to West Brom in the FA Cup in 2007. The worst part or the day was the c*** Jez Moxey giving the entire South Bank to West Brom, and trying to compensate Wolves fans with the infamous 'free pie and pint'.

Nothing really upsets me watching football now, but letting that lot take the piss and leave Tesco bags on our seats after demolishing us hurt...

It's the football equivalent of Liverpool giving Man Utd the entire Kop stand and then getting smashed 0-3 by them. Most Wolves fans will never forgive Jez Moxey for that.

Sunday 15th May 2011 when that blind c*** of a referee, Jon Moss, sent Gleeson off and gave a penalty when Mark Little dived a good yard outside the box. I knew at that point that the authorities hadn't considered our debt repaid.

Yeah - I'm looking forward to seeing the 17K or so appalled Wednesday fans next month :bdick:
Hopefully your taxi full of away fans will be suitably subdued and sent packing pointless/

We should have beaten West Ham in the semi final. Well, really we should have just got promoted automatically, that would have been a lot simpler.
