Beer wankers scapegoat of choice but really not as bad as they make out. The best beer I ever had was an ice cold can of Stella after playing footy for hours when I was about 16. Think it was the first time I really enjoyed the taste of beer. The second best I ever had was the Elderflower Pagnell's Piss, gutted they discontinued that.

Given the age and circumstance, I suspect you would have been equally impressed by a 38p can of Skol providing it had just come out of a fridge.
