There are always some good underdog stories at World Cups and the Euros, none better than Denmark '92. Costa Rica making the last-8 probably the best underdog story at Brazil 2014.

Which smaller teams you think could be the fairytale stories in France?

Slovakia, Austria, Wales could all surprise a few at the Euros, think Austria will reach the last 8.

I've heard a lot of people say Austria, but I don't know... Wales I do agree, though, could do well. Poland, too.

The Swiss. Good players and with Romania and Albania they have a group they would expect to come out runners up in at least.

Austria aren't a small team.
Switzerland could easily do well.

Ireland might not lose all three matches...

Are Croatia underdog status?
They have a mixed bag in defence with some good but seriously over the hill defenders and young prospects, but from midfield to the strikers they look top drawer. Modric, Rakitic, Perisic, Brozovic, Kovacic. Then up front there's big Mandzukic and Kalinic has had a good season with Fiorentina.
Anyone else got an itch?

France, Germany, England, Belgium, and Italy are powerhouses.
Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Russia, Sweden, Poland, Wales are decent teams.
Everyone else will do well to make it to the group stage.

Not just saying this because I have adopted them for the tournament but I actually do see Croatia surprising a few

Scot........ Oh yeah.
We're too cool to be bothered playing with all that riff raff there. We'll be busy getting blootered and enjoying the summer. We'll wait till the big tourney starts in two years and go to that.

Deliberately. Scott Brown (Scotiesta according to Rodgers) can't be seen mixing with Muller, Ronaldo et al, we can't have that.

There was more, but it didn't fit in the screenshot.

I go for Wales because they are sympathic to me and the have Bale after all. And Ukraine played well recently and they should never be underestimated

Wales are sympathetic to you? You sure it's not the other way around?

Goals, skill, assists. What does Scott Brown bring?
Oh, Ronaldo also brings hair.

Iceland and Turkey.

Not sure about Wales, in theory England should top the group and I think any of the other three could qualify.

Austria look the ones to me. Interesting that we could well meet them in the last 8 if we both top our groups. I think they could as I don't really fancy Portugal in their group.

Actually think Northern Ireland could scrape through to the round of 16 in 3rd and then who knows after that.

As I said before, Croatia will surprise a few. They've beaten European heavyweights San Marino 10-0 tonight
