Providing we stay down, Hartlepool and Carlisle would be a disastrous set of fixtures for us. In fact, most of those are pretty horrible apart from Cheltenham. Personally I'd like to see Mansfield down purely for their players and how they loved sending us down so much. Especially when the winning goal scorer had a good old laugh with the city fans on twitter after it.

Coming up? Well firstly I'd like to ask the point of how is the North/South decided?! How on Earth are Gloucester, Worcester, Oxford and Tamworth up north?! I mean, I know I say to my mates that anything above the M25 is north but come on! Anyway, it seems Barrow or Flyde are certainly coming up, wouldn't mind having Boston up for old times sake (Is this a reformed Boston btw?) From the South - I'd love to see Basingstoke come up after that, I'm easy.

The Conference North comprises the 22 most northern teams in step two. That's all it is. It's just that the non-league structure is inherently southern-centric now and needs overhauling, as in the ten years since we've had a Conference North/South rather than the Conference being served by the Northern/Southern/Isthmian Premiers, the southern focus has worsened and can only directly change if relatively "northern" teams from the Southern Premier gain promotion, eg. Redditch, Corby. I think the best way of changing this is by changing the structure of step five and below. Step five has 14 divisions, eight of which consist of teams all south of Bedford basically. Merge one southern division and through grassroots facilities funding introduce a new northern one and I firmly believe it'll stop the rot. Also, fund step five's Northern League (the Geordie league) so that clubs who finish top are promoted into step four, as this transition has been refused by many clubs in recent past and has finished off one or two others, despite having probably the best attendances in counties league football. In the past ten years the Conference North borderline has gone from just south of Birmingham to south of Oxford/Luton now, which is ludicrous, as is making Blyth Spartans and Workington share the Northern Premier League with Halesowen SW of Birmingham, Barwell (Leics.), and King's Lynn in Norfolk. I hope that helps...?

The Boston United is the same old Boston too, went straight down to the Conference North and then were demoted for general financial stuff.

If we're in the Conference next season then I'd like this lot, purely to make the Conference more enjoyable for us:
Mansfield/York/Hartlepool/Carlisle/Tranmere down
Barnet/FGR/Beastleigh up

Dartford/Nuneaton/Alfreton/Welling down (begrudgingly)
Barrow/Guiseley/Chorley up, then Bromley/H&W if I had to choose from the South

Cheltenham coming down would be great for us, especially if we lose the Bristol Rovers games. Other then that, not really bothered, but expect Hartlepool to drop.

Coming up there aren't many in contention that are particularly local, Oxford City and Basingstoke would be the best location wise.

I expect Bromley and Barrow to win their leagues.

How the bloody hell do you think our players "loved" sending you down?

We had one shot on goal, scored and you had the rest of the game. It's not our fault you were so shit you couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo.

Our fans were completely sympathetic with you, and I was chatting with a good deal with them after what had happened. Colin Daniel only "had a laugh" with City fans after he got tweeted with abuse from your fans after scoring a goal against you - he didn't send you down - you sent yourselves down over a course of the season, some of the messages to him were astonishing (I dare say after some had consumed a fair amount of cider while doing so)

Anyone who has had to endure this shithole of a league would not "glorify" in sending someone else down, even if it was a direct competitor (which you weren't)

I'm sure many Carlisle fans would still latch onto it. They would latch onto it accidentally, after declaring out loud for the 94th time that Barrow are bankrolled chancers and a tinpot pub team. They'd sneer and scoff that they can't believe they're playing the Raiders in the league all Friday, secretly getting more and more petrified for the match their team's playing in front of the BT cameras that night.

Honest. It happened to us to some extent with Guiseley. They're much smaller than us but when it comes to it they're the next Yorkshire team down from us, and we had to deal with that for two seasons.

In reality it is pretty close, apart from hartlepool who have really struggled all season.

The others (from Cambridge in 17th to cheltenham in 23rd) all keep yoyoing around on mini runs then sinking back down, others like us are alright at home but truely dreadful away.

Cheltenham do seem to be on a terrible run but have got 3 consecutive games against sides in that little group which may well determine their season.

I think all are very weary of the perils that lurk down here, it's probably just who falls unlucky on the last game of the season like bristol rovers last season

It doesn't come naturally to wish people, or in this case teams, ill or want them to suffer relegation but I think you might struggle to find many Rovers fans who wouldn't want to see Cheltenham in our division next season. It isn't as if they are really our major rival, that honour is saved for Gloucester City, but everyone likes a local derby. I guess Hartlepool already look nailed on for relegation but I can't honestly see them finding two teams to finish above, unless of course someone goes into a complete meltdown between now and the end of the season. I have always had a bit of love and admiration for Tranmere, particularly their fans, as they survive in the shadow of a couple of relative giants in footballing terms and hope they can avoid the drop.

As for the teams coming up, from the north there are plenty of teams that are in the midlands and not too far for an away game, other than the likely Barrow it would be good to see a return of Tamworth or maybe someone like Hednesford or Solihull Moors. Not too bothered with the south, we will probably get more teams from Kent, but I wouldn't mind seeing a return of Bath City. Other than them I might go for Whitehawk, although I might not win too many friends with that view, as Brighton is a great destination for a weekend away.

I wouldn't mind seeing a return of Bath City. Other than them I might go for Whitehawk, although I might not win too many friends with that view, as Brighton is a great destination for a weekend away.

Bath would be great, especially if Cheltenham come down and the Gas don't go up.

Whitehawk are a good shout, as they have a very good manager in Steve King who works well with a big budget, which by all accounts is what they've got. Bit of a shithole though, and they've got no fans.

Other than that, I don't care. I don't particularly wish ill on York anyway. There are no big games in this division, it's non-league.
