Just out of curiosity I was wondering what players have made the most appearances this season.

This is in all competitions by the way.

Paddy Madden has started every single game for us this season so he has 45 appearances for us.

Fleck has 41 and O'Brien 40 in all comps, no other players barely break 30.

We've also used 37 players this year in all comps this season.

Anthony Grant unsurprisingly, being our best outfield player. 42 apps.

Followed in 2nd by Oliver fucking Turton with 41 apps. How's that happened? No wonder we're fucked.

Ben Garratt is third. I miss Garratt. Someone please fix Garratt.

No idea but for the past 10 years, Dean Lewington has always been 1st (or 2nd behind the goalkeeper) so I would guess it is him again.

Most definitely him considering how long Martin was out for

Carroll's played every game so him. Hollis most for outfielders, then Gary Jones which is proper 'oh fuck off' territory because he's a shite ballbag who should've played like 10 purely as a back-up.

Having said that, just seen a Crewe fan call Anthony Grant their best outfield player which gives me hope that we're not that terrible.

Actually in the league it's Anthony Kay with 37 as he has kept away from the cards better than most this year. But this did shock me - overall it's Daniel Powell with 43. Quite a few of these must have been off the bench though.

In fact, Paul Gallagher has played 47, forgot about him.

Yeah I did consider Kay, as you say he has been much better disciplined than last season. I would never have guessed Powell though!
