Nevermind the 11 years he spent at Everton then?
Ah, shut up... :animatedf:
On a slightly related note, in 2002 he said he would make Everton a better team than Manchester United.
2014: Mission accomplished.

In hindsight, Moyes had a near-impossible job at United. Ferguson squeezed everything out of that aging squad and didn't care about freshening it up for the future. Half the players seemed to have lost their motivation the next season and had declined quite a bit. Although Moyes did fail with his transfers. Still, I don't think any manager would have had a good season with that squad, it was just too big a task to fill Ferguson's boots with that squad that had just had its last hurrah.

That's who I was going to suggest. I don't think anyone else has put forward a candidate with a 0% win rate.

Paul Jewell?

On another note, for us it'd be Alex McLeish, how he struggled so badly with that squad, which at the time was actually half decent (fair enough we lost Downing and Young in his first window) is beyond me.

Every time I hear the name "Paul Jewell" it takes me back to Petrov's goal from the half way line away at Derby. Can't remember the exact scoreline but we absolutely mullered them. Roy Carroll had a stinker. Happy times :bg:

For me Glenn Roeder comes almost at the top for being the worst manager, but looking at the stats, Avram Grant's record at the Boleyn was slightly worse.

Not until they were relegated.

Paul Jewell at Derby (PL Season): W0 D5 L19 GF15 GA56

Billy Davies got their sole win that season, a 1-0 victory over Newcastle United at Pride Park.

I'm just gonna thrown Jacques Santini in the hat. He wasn't a bad manager but just so people don't forget him until they finish reading this post.
