Stolen from the BPL thread.

1. El-Abd. Think he might have already left, not sure though. He's useless anyway.
2. Osborne. Not championship level.
That's it for us i think.

Osborne was superb last season, and I think it's harsh the little time he got this season - but then again, Cotterill would have been a silly man to change a winning formula and the best defence in the league, so he was incredibly unfortunate.

IMO - I think Wagstaff will be off. He's a very, very good L1 player, but he just doesn't fit into our system anymore due to the formation we play. Him and JET were probably the reason we stayed in the league last season, he has a great eye for goal, he's hardworking, and he has a fair bit of pace about him. I wouldn't be surprised if he went off in search of top level L1 football, as he seems a down to earth sort of player, and he'll be a wanted man should his services become available.

Would be sad to lose him, but I think it would be in best interest for both parties. Apart from that - I'd keep the rest of them. No need to dismantle such a successful squad from the previous campaign.

Apparently waggy does a lot of work behind the scenes, so he might not get sold.

Huddlestone, Livermore, Hernandez. Utter shite. Granted, Livermore's going nowhere if he ends up suspended for two years.

We've released pretty much all the players I'd want to move on, I'd keep the rest and build around them.

Tebar, McCormack, Craig, Mawson.

Pretty much anyone could be sold, just depends on what bids come in.

Would you not see Mawson making it at Brentford next season?
He's already told the club he doesn't want to come back. I'd give him a try, but the club see's him behind the main CBs in the pecking order, and he isn't willing to play second fiddle anymore.

Fair play to him. I'd have him as our 4th choice CB in a heartbeat, but he wants first team football. Dean and Tarky both better than him (and similar age) so there doesn't seem to be an easy path for him here.

I imagine he'll end up at a mid-table L1 team. He'll cost a reasonable amount in tribunal fees as he has done so well in L2, so it would need to be someone who could afford him.

Conor Sammon - A year left on his contract, but who would actually want him?
Cyrus Christie - Never seen any player change so dramatically mid-season. Brilliant up until November, utter dross thereafter. I believe he did the same at Coventry too.
Richard Keogh - Makes far too many ridiculous errors, and is in no way captain material.

Can't see any of them leaving though. At least they are all out of contract next Summer.

Has Rowe not been any good? Was gutted we missed out on him last Summer.

Saville will developed into a decent player - good ability that lad, incredibly fit, and should be a good Championship player in years to come, although I do admit he was maybe a bit pricey for what you paid for him.

And Van La Parra? He's looked alright everytime I've seen him play to be honest.

Poor Adam - I take it Bury will probably pick him up for a nominal fee?

For us, possibly O'Grady, maybe Dunk if it's a huge fee from a PL club (as a way of raising funds). Aside from that, probably no-one. Despite how awful we were last season, the squad is so thin as it is, what with returning loanees and players released that we'd be cutting off our nose to spite our face.

I think Al-Abd and Osbourne will probably be leaving, especially if we bring in another CB. Maybe waggy also? We got a small squad as it is so I doubt many will go. I wonder what will happen with the youngsters like Burns and Reid? More loan time out I guess?

Will Grigg...we are going to make you an offer you can't refuse (£750,000?!)

I think it's likely we'll let you have him eventually, but the new coach will want to look at him first. Strikers from League 1 who score over 20 goals in multiple seasons normally go for over £1m, so I think you guys are still a little way off our evaluation. (as said before, probably £1m)

Seem to be tentative suggestions that we could be the ones signing Mawson. We're looking for centre backs, and Edinburgh stated that some of our targets were involved in play-offs, so it seems to fit.

Also wouldn't mind us nabbing Wagstaff - local lad and a good League One player.

There are quite a few rumours that we are after Grigg as well. That would piss off MK if we got him.

The main reason I picked these are because they're all midfielders, and we have way too much of them.

Rowe is alright, but as said above he's been injured for all of 2015 and now I cant see a place for him in the team (maybe a lower champ or top end league 1 club will go for him).

Saville again the same sort of thing, we have too many players in his position, and are still hoping to get another attacking midfielder to replace Sako.

Van La Parra is okay, I just feel he is a one trick pony with his direct pace. Were hoping to sign Sammy Ameobi and he would just be a general better direct replacement for him I think

At the moment our huge midfield list consists of:

Lee Evans
Bakary Sako
Rajiv Van La Parra
Dave Edwards
Jack Price
Kevin McDonald
Jed Wallace
James Henry
Michael Jacobs
Razak Boukari
Tommy Rowe
George Saville

Saville is a tempting one TBH. He didn't get a regular run in our side while he was with us last year but showed signs of being a very good player. Against West Ham, he was very good but he couldn't displace Luke Freeman, Korey Smith or Marlon Pack. While I think LF and KS will be fine in the Championship, I'm not so sure MP will be so maybe bring Saville back to BS3?

We bought him last season for 1m, but I think we'd cut our losses and sell him for 500k and a word in JET's ear on telling him what club to join

I forgot about Blackman.Wouldn't be disappointed to see him go although on occasions he has shown a small amount of promise.

Blackman is like HRK in that he doesn't know whether he is a striker, support striker or winger and fails at all. The only differences are that HRK has at least shown something positive before and that Blackman has lower wages. Two of the players who most sum up how bad our squad is, in my opinion.
