Tranmere’s result aside, results went very well for us tonight, and we played really well, so hopefully our mojo is back. As others have said, we play lots of the other top teams in the next few games, so one way or the other we are masters of our own destiny, and will help or hinder the others. I think Tranmere will win the title if they can live without the injured striker, but still fancy us for top three if we avoid key injuries. Loving this 2 games a week business !!

My revised top 7 after tonight
FGR
Tranmere
Bolton/Exeter
.............................................................
Bolton/Exeter
Cheltenham
Newport
Cambridge

Try again Saturday

So our draw with Morecambe has changed your mind into thinking we're champions elect? Fair enough, but I'd stick Morecambe in the top 3 too based on tonight, one of the best sides we've played and had the better of it second half.

I'll definitely take it if we're still in the top 3 in a months time given our fixtures.

Really surprised Morecambe are proving so tenacious and staying in the promotion mix. Thought they’d fade when Phillips was recalled from on loan. Both our games were scrappy 0-1s to the away side, but it sounds like the Shrimps are playing more attractive football now.

Cheltenham never impress me any time i see them Cambridge the same. Tranmere i think will go up despite Vaughan. You have been consistent all season and deserve to go up. Exeter have certainly one of the best 3 teams in the league especially up front and are getting players back from injury. We have the best team/squad in the league yet games are running out. Morecambe will get into the play offs but losing a couple of key players in January will impact them ditto Newport. Salford are a top 7 team yet wont be involved in the promotion places as there ageing squad is not capable of 2 games a week. Carlisle have imploded. Bradford have left it too late and will fall just short this season but will certainly be in the hunt for the automatics next season. Theres many twists and turns to come before May the 8th

So you haven't then. You've seen the goals we've scored and conceded.
Yes i see the illegal use of towels each game and the long hit it and hoof it tactic......works for a time, but not easy on the eye

I believe it stems from that time Allardyce sent his team away from Prenton Park without showering. The fans took it as gospel, and collectively stopped washing. Now the mere sight of a towel has then screaming 'blasphemy!'.

I may be wrong.
Fred Dibnah was a bit of a soap dodger.

Again - rather than the rambling bullshit you usually come out with - support your allegation with evidence.
The vote was fake. Towels are banned but they cheated. Trump level denial incoming.

Thats not how it works. You make a claim you prove it. Thats the basis of our legal system. Its people like you who bring chaos to our society. Will you be proud of yourself when the country is in anarchy because of your aversion to being dry.

There you go - and the quote:

"But when Tranmere are at home the League allowed the club to give each ball-boy a towel to help Challinor - as long as the towels were also made available to the visiting team."

Visiting teams can use our towels, and Vale were doing so last Saturday.

very close. Allardyce was shocked at the conditions that his multi million pound squad had to endure in a previous visit to krap notnerp that he vowed never to stay longer than needed. All the players had booster shots before and after the game.

To stop any diseases being spread outside Bolton presumably.

There should be a separate Bolton v Tranmere thread.
Some excellent and amusing posts [and a few not so amusing] that it would be worthwhile letting these sets of fans have their own amusement park.
