We'd be fine in League 2, maybe not playoff contenders but certainly comfortably mid table. This year's team would absolutely hammer last year's.

Don't think anyone here is arrogant !! the feeling IS ! IF ! we are good enough to get promoted we have a better chance of staying in League 2. This team is far better than the crap we have endured over the previous two seasons.
I think we would still have to bring in better players to improve the squad to even get above mid table.
Who really knows but it's been a great season for Gloucestershire clubs and lifted the profile in a rugby orientated county.
All to play for in my book, loads of points going but you cant deny its exciting stuff.

I have seen plenty of league two and we would clearly do well, we spent most of our existence in that league around the play off places and this current team is better than most we have had. It's league one where we tend to struggle as we lack the crowds and funds to compete.

Don't really share your confidence ! we have a squad with reasonable National league experience but not too sure we would "clearly do well", fact is we wont know until we get there. And we're not yet.

Have you forgotten how Mansfield went on to win the title after getting some 20 wins after January? It is tough, no doubt about that,but it's far from over.

Looking at their fixtures they have some seriously tough games, with still 6 of the top 8 to play away. If they win the title either us/FGR will have bottled it big time or they'll have seriously earned it.

I think we always did have to go down and beat #TeamGloucestershire twice anyway. We're hanging on for sure, but it's not over yet. It's imperative that we win at Bromley a week on Tuesday now. Hopefully you'll slip up in the meantime but I'm not holding my breath.
